Round after round! Why test nucleic acids every day? The reasons see here

Recently, Wuhan has carried out several rounds of nucleic acid testing. Why do multiple rounds of nucleic acid testing? What should I pay attention to when doing nucleic acid testing? Experts from Wuhan Cd-operative Center for Disease Control and Prevention take everyone to understand.

Why do nucleic acid testing as early as possible

1. This round of outbreaks is mainly caused by the infection of the Omikerong variant strain, and the transmission speed is faster.

2. The symptoms of the Omikejong mutant strain are not obvious, the occlusion is strong, and it is easier to spread or concentrate on outbreaks.

3. The Omikejong mutation strain can spread rapidly in a short period of time, only by responding quickly and quickly, screening positive infected people through nucleic acid testing as soon as possible and taking control measures can we prevent the prolongation of the virus transmission chain and avoid infecting more people.

Key points: Nucleic acid testing should be done early, and nucleic acid testing should be done repeatedly in order to find out the Aumilon mutant strain.

Why do nucleic acid tests repeatedly

1. Nucleic acid detection is a multi-link workflow, including sampling, specimen transfer, specimen signing, nucleic acid extraction, nucleic acid amplification, etc. Any link is improperly operated, there is a possibility of "false negative".

2. Some tested people have a very low amount of detoxification during the incubation period, and nucleic acid testing at this time can easily lead to the emergence of "false negatives".

3. The transmission period of the Omikejong strain is mostly 1.5-5 days after infection, and the spacing between the transmissions between infected cases is on average 3 days, and the nucleic acid must be dynamically and repeatedly measured in a short period of time to effectively confirm whether it is positive.

Emphasis: Because of individual differences, different tolerances and previous disease conditions between different people will have a certain impact on sampling. Therefore, the nucleic acid test of the new crown virus needs to be done several times, and it must be judged according to many comprehensive influencing factors.

What are the precautions for doing nucleic acid testing

1. After receiving the NEWCC vaccine, nucleic acid testing is required at an interval of 48 hours.

2. Try to avoid eating 2 hours before taking nucleic acid sampling, so as not to cause vomiting during sampling. Do not drink water or beverages, do not smoke, do not drink alcohol, do not chew gum, etc. for 30 minutes before sampling.

3. Wear a mask throughout the whole process, do a good job of personal protection, and maintain social distancing. Listen to the arrangements of the on-site staff, consciously and orderly queue, and do not gossip with people.

4. When queuing, the front personnel should not go forward immediately after collecting, and they should not immediately take off the mask and open their mouths to wait for sampling. On the basis of maintaining a safe distance, wait for the doctor to finish disinfecting his hands, take out a new cotton swab, and then quickly take off the mask and open his mouth to sample.

5. Stop shouting "ah" when the nucleic acid is sampled. When shouting "ah", a large amount of virus may be exhaled, and an aerosol may be formed in the sampling area, causing direct pollution of the sampling point environment, and when the next test is made, the virus-bearing aerosol may not be inevitably inhaled into the respiratory tract.

6. Avoid touching the items on the testing table, and do not put personal items such as mobile phones, ID cards, and keys on the countertop.

7. After sampling is complete, wear a mask and leave immediately, do not stay at the sampling point for too long.

Key points: When doing nucleic acid testing, take off the mask and open your mouth, you can make an "ah" action, but don't make an "ah" sound.
