In the interview, Gao Shuai told reporters that he was a typical Han Chinese, and since he was a child, he moved with his parents from Zibo City, Shandong Province, to Jinan City, Shandong Province, with his family, where he was born, and lived in the military compound for a long time. Growing up as the head of the army, the patriotic image of a soldier defending his family and defending the country brought him a righteous spirit, but he was obsessed with calligraphy, painting and music from an early age. After studying calligraphy for 6 years, he switched to orthodox painting studies. In 1999, he was admitted to a key high school with a good result of first place in the grade A in the secondary school art specialty student examination, which greatly strengthened his determination to study art. In 2001, Gao Shuai went to Beijing with his father to learn painting from famous teachers. In 2002, he was admitted to the Central University for Nationalities. During his studies, he was guided and deeply influenced by the famous painter Mr. Liu Bingjiang, laying a solid foundation for his future artistic path.
The senior coach's resume is simple but every step is down-to-earth. In 1999, he was admitted to Jinan Middle School with the first place in the first class of art students. In 2002, he was admitted to the oil painting major of the Academy of Fine Arts of minzu University of China with the best three results in the major. In 2006, after graduating from university, he went to Beijing and Shanghai to engage in art examination training and artistic creation. In 2014, he returned to Jinan and established "New Art Realm Education Consulting Co., Ltd." (later renamed: Gao Hongzhi Education Development (Shandong) Group Co., Ltd.) as a legal representative. In 2015, he founded his art education studio. In 2021, he established the "Hongyijing Art School" and served as the principal.
After four years of college, after graduating from undergraduate, Gao Shuai began to devote himself to teaching and personal artistic creation, but continued to study painting and teaching work and constantly encountered various bottlenecks. Gao Shuai served as a judge of a number of provincial competitions, and founded the Hongyijing Art Training School, which has outstanding teaching achievements and keeps pace with the times, and has been awarded the CCTV license - "Best Calligraphy and Painting Teaching Demonstration Unit" for Dream Star Teenagers, and is "National Social Art Level Examination Examination Center Institution".
While running a good school and doing a good job in personal creation, Gao Shuai is also enthusiastic about public welfare undertakings, and he has repeatedly represented the Hard Pen Calligraphy Association into many primary and secondary schools in Jinan to carry out public welfare classes. At the same time, Gao Shuai also actively cooperated with the local community party committee to carry out public welfare activities, and the enterprise he founded was rated as an advanced unit in the community by the community party committee for two consecutive years.

In March 2018, Gao Shuai edited the book "Lin classic inscriptions to learn to write pen characters - Wen Zhengming away from the Riot Classic", which was published by Shandong Fine Arts Publishing House.
Gao Shuai said that the character he gave himself was Hongzhi, the hong of the painter Xu Beihong, and the calligrapher Wang Xizhi.
