Zheng Dekun (1907-2001), a famous archaeologist, born in Gulangyu Island, Xiamen, Fujian Province, graduated from Yenching University, Harvard University, Doctor of Archaeology, in 1951 was invited to the University of Cambridge in the United Kingdom, a total of 23 years, pay attention to the public number: ancient art. He retired from Cambridge in 1974, served as the inaugural director of the "Chinese Archaeological Art Research Center" founded by cuhk's Institute of Chinese Cultural Research in 1978, and retired in 1985 for health reasons.
