From March 31 to April 10, Jakarta, the capital of Indonesia, held the 2022 Indonesia International Auto Show (IIMS 2022). EHang Intelligent officially announced that its self-driving aircraft EHang 216 also participated in the exhibition and received a booking for 100 aircraft from Indonesian aviation company Prestige Aviation. The two sides held an online signing ceremony at the 2022 Indonesia International Motor Show on April 9. This is the largest booking for a manned autonomous vehicle in Asia to date.

According to reports, Prestige Aviation is a company specializing in the aviation industry under Prestige Corp., providing aviation services including the sale and purchase of aircraft and private jet leasing. Previously, Prestige Aviation had previously purchased an EH216 from EHang Intelligent, and the two sides jointly conducted the first flight demonstration under the air tour scene in Bali, Indonesia in 2021.
