How to choose an underground parking space? Adhering to the principle of "three choices and three choices", many people have chosen the wrong one

Many "old drivers" with many years of driving experience really found out when they bought underground parking spaces that the so-called "old drivers" were not at all. Usually we drive, no matter how small, how difficult to park the parking space, we can park in. And because it is temporary parking, it does not care at all about the quality of the parking space.

But when I need to buy a private parking space in the underground garage downstairs from my house, I have to think about it a lot — a little glitch, over time, will be magnified many times over time.

In the past two years, I have bought five or six parking spaces in the company and my own downstairs. Buy more, but also summarize a set of parking space selection skills. In general, it is "three choices and three choices".

Preferred: Separate parking spaces

Next to the elevator entrance, or at some angle, there are often several independent parking spaces. The planned size of these independent parking spaces is relatively small, but it does not matter, when buying, it is optimistic whether there are walls on both sides. If there are no walls, we are not afraid of being small – it looks small, but it is spacious to use.

Beginner's choice: Roadside parking spaces

If you are a novice and cannot buy a separate parking space, it is recommended to buy a parking space on the side of the road. Like in the picture below, one side of a passage, facing the wall, has a row of parking spaces.

This row of parking spaces are designed at an oblique 45 °, no need to reverse when parking, you can drive directly in, and it will be much more convenient when parking. The only inconvenience is that these parking spaces are often far away from the elevator entrance.

Preferred: Intersection parking spaces

The number of the above two types of parking spaces is often relatively small, and if you don't grab it, there is a third option - intersection parking spaces. No matter what form of intersection, intersection, T-junction, even a small turn is no problem. Choose parking spaces on both sides of the intersection!

The intersection space is often larger, and it is more convenient to reverse when parking. Taking a step back, if your driving skills are not good, you can also directly aim at the parking space at the intersection and plunge into it, without the need to reverse back and forth.

Not selected: Side parking space

Some people may think that I have a full score for side parking at driving school, so I can buy a parking space that needs side parking. But I recommend you don't do this for two main reasons:

The first is that you only have the option of side parking, rather than driving straight in like a normal parking space, and you need to reverse every time.

The second is that the right side of the side parking space is generally walled, which means that the person with the right door cannot get up and down normally. And even if there is a car next to the ordinary parking space, it will not be parked all year round, and there are times when you can open the door freely.

No choice: Middle parking space

The layout in the underground garage is generally with columns. In the middle of the two columns, two or three parking spaces are designed.

Prefer two parking spaces, so that the chance of parking not being disturbed by others will be greatly increased;

Choose three parking spaces on both sides, and at least one side of the door will never be blocked.

The worst location is the middle parking space of the three parking spaces. Once the cars on both sides are not parked correctly, they rub a little into the middle, and the middle parking space cannot open the car door.

Do not choose: Broken Head Road parking space

There is also a broken road parking space, which is the top of a road, and there will be two parking spaces on both sides. It could be two parking spaces or it could be a large independent parking space. But no matter what parking space, no matter how big it looks, don't choose.

Because your car is parked here, there is only one way, and that is to plunge headlong into it. When you come out, you can only reverse and walk through the long passage, and you can't turn around.
