On Weibo, he told netizens what he saw and heard on the eve of the fall of Nanjing, when his father led his family to flee to the camp of Jinling Women's University.

In 1945, he ushered in a turning point in his life. He volunteered to enlist in the army and put on his uniform.
After New Year's Day in 1947, he entered Shandong with his troops and was incorporated into the 32nd Regiment of the 11th Division of the 4th Column of Huaye. At the beginning of 1949, it was again organized into the 23rd Regiment of the 68th Division of the 23rd Army.
