In the early morning of October 9, 2001, Su Moumou, a neighbor who lived next door, told Lei Wuze that he would take 3-year-old Chuanchuan out to play. In view of the fact that Su Moumou had taken Chuanchuan to play several times before, and he and his wife were fellow countrymen, the usual relationship was OK, and the couple agreed without much thought.

However, after detaining Su Moumou for 24 hours, the police station released her on the grounds that there was insufficient evidence of abduction and trafficking, and that she was lost by negligence.
After that, Su disappeared. And Chuanchuan, on the other hand, never reappeared.

From the moment Chuan Chuan was lost, Lei Wuze and his wife began a long journey to find their son.
The two first traveled all over Hunan in a year, and then traveled to most of China. I have tried all the ways I can think of by posting leaflets, placing advertisements, and asking for media coverage.
During this time, he received encouragement and help, and also encountered fraud, Lei Wuze can not remember how many times he went out to find his son, each time with hope, but the result was always disappointed, but he never gave up in 21 years.
Lei Wuze told Jimu News that over the years, he has traveled around the country and said "hello" to people every day in order to find his son, accumulating 1.4 million times. In order to welcome his son home, he prepared an invitation to the reunion wine, which has been prepared for 21 years.

On June 17, 2021, the Changsha police found that Xiao Yong (pseudonym) and Chuanchuan in Linfen, Shanxi Province, through portrait comparison, found that the characteristics of Xiao Yong (pseudonym) and Chuanchuan in all aspects were relatively consistent, especially the "lump" at the tip of the two children's ears was very similar. Lei Wuze was very surprised, at that time, he said that Xiao Yong had a 99.99% chance of being Chuanchuan. The only thing that is needed is the CERTIFICATE of DNA identification results.
Lei Wuze contacted the public security organs where Xiao Yong's household registration and work were located, and learned that the results of the appraisal still need to wait for 10 days. But he couldn't sit still, and on the 9th day he drove to Linfen, full of anticipation of the scene of meeting his "son".
But as a result, he was hit again. On June 27, 2021, Lei Wuze received a notice from the police that Xiao Yong was not Chuan Chuan.
And Lei Wuze had been planning to hold a reunion banquet for 300 people on July 5 of that year on the birthday of Chuanchuan's mother, and it was not over.
