All-solid-state batteries will further accelerate the popularity of electric vehicles, and the energy density of all-solid-state batteries is close to twice that of traditional lithium-ion batteries, with excellent charging and discharging performance, which will further shorten the charging time.
At the same time, battery costs can be reduced to a lower rate due to the reduction in the use of expensive raw materials. Nissan Motor plans to apply all-solid-state batteries (ASSBs) to a wider segment such as pickup trucks, which is expected to increase the competitiveness of electric models.
