Recently, there is DNA evidence that Zhao Kuangyin, the ancestor of the Song Dynasty, and the Indians had the same male ancestor 20,000 years ago. My friend Chen Jing, a member of the Fengyun Society, introduced the following:

The Indians of North and South America are a very rare DNA state in human populations: highly homologous. This is because after humans entered the Americas from the Bering Strait, they cut off contact with the Continents of Europe, Asia and Africa. Although the population of the Americas has grown to tens of millions, the DNA type is very single, and the males are the descendants of a few people, with only two types of P and Q.

About 20,000 years ago, a group of people wandered from southern Siberia to Central Asia. One of the men had a Q-M242 mutation in his Y chromosome. There are many such mutations, but only a few are lucky enough to continue into modern times (that is, they have always been inherited by male direct descendants). M242 is lucky, and twice as lucky.

Between 20,000 and 15,000 years ago, the man's male descendants, along with some people, entered North America from the Bering Strait, both of which were of the Q or P series. In the Americas, their population exploded, and although they were later killed a lot by european colonists, they continued into the modern era. There are also many descendants of the Q-M242.

Some of the other direct descendants of this man continued to mingle in Northeast Asia. Later, it was integrated into the Chinese nation. Until the Five Dynasties and Ten Kingdoms, the Zhao family came out, and later there was an emperor Zhao Kuangyin.

After the fall of the Zhao and Song dynasties, their descendants did not all become extinct, and there were more than 10,000 people. After that, several branches gathered to live, and some explicitly claimed to be descendants of Zhao and Song.

In the 21st century, many of these people went to test DNA and found that it was indeed the common ancestor 900-950 years ago (corresponding to Zhao Hongyin, the father of Zhao Kuangyin's three brothers), and more than half of them were surnamed Zhao. According to various historical records and DNA evidence, it is determined that this gang is indeed a descendant of Zhao song.

DNA evidence also suggests that Q-M242 also had a chance of a population outbreak about 3100 years ago. It may be that when the Zhou Dynasty replaced the Shang Dynasty, this family mixed well.
