Why are some people still infected after the COVID-19 vaccine?

Recently, the domestic epidemic has broken out in many places, and many people are doubting: after vaccinating the new crown and being infected, is the vaccine really useful?

This article is to say that vaccines are useful and can be beaten.

Strengthening injections have become a hot topic that many people pay attention to, how effective is the vaccination and strengthening injections?

Multiple studies have shown that vaccination of boosters enhances the protection of the vaccine [4,5].

Taking the Kexing vaccine as an example, after the completion of 2 injections, the neutral antibody level in the vaccinated person's body continues to decrease, and if the injection is given in the 6th month, a strong immune response can be quickly generated, and the neutral antibody level in the vaccinated person can be rapidly increased by 10 times in a week, and even reach 20 times in half a month [6].

In terms of safety, volunteers in all groups (60 in each group) who received the 3rd dose of the Köxing vaccine did not have adverse reactions of level 2 or above, indicating that the safety was good.

Many provinces in the mainland have begun to vaccinate vaccine boosters. At a press conference held by the joint prevention and control mechanism of the State Council in September this year, Wang Huaqing, chief expert of the immunization program of the Chinese Center for Disease Control and Prevention, mentioned that it was recommended that these three key groups of people carry out intensive vaccination.

1. Including ports, isolation places, and employees of designated medical institutions, and people with a relatively high risk of exposure to the virus;

2. People with immune deficiencies or low levels, some people over 60 years old;

3. People who go abroad to study and work exchanges, especially those who go to countries where the epidemic continues to spread.

Whether you should get a booster injection is based on the notification of the local CDC.

Repeated epidemics in China have taught us that the new crown virus is very cunning and really cannot be slackened.

The epidemic has made us more aware that human beings are a community, and whether the epidemic can be controlled well or not is related to everyone.

One more person to do it — wear a mask, go out less, wash your hands frequently, get vaccinated— and the day when you can return to normal life will come sooner.

I hope you can stick to it, and I hope you can share it with your family and friends around you.
