On March 31, the 2022 China Automotive Industry High-quality Development Exchange Conference and Enterprise Standard "Leader" Conference with the theme of "Standard Achieves Quality, Leading the Way to Cast a Brand" was held in Chongqing. Under the guidance of the Department of Standards and Innovation of the State Administration for Market Regulation, the conference was hosted by the Chongqing Municipal Market Supervision and Administration Bureau, the China Institute of Standardization, the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers, the China Energy Conservation Association, the China Society of Technical Economics, and the China Automotive Engineering Research Institute Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as General Technology China Auto Research Institute).
The meeting released the results of the 2021 automotive industry enterprise standard "leader", among which, Foton General G9, Changan Kaicheng F70, SAIC Maxus T90 (SAIC Bull) won the title of "leader" in the field of enterprise standards in the field of multi-purpose trucks (that is, pickup trucks).
What is the "front-runner" of corporate standards? As the name suggests, the leader is the leader, and the enterprise standard "leader" refers to the enterprise whose core indicators of the enterprise product or service standard are at the leading level.
In 2018, the State Administration of Market Supervision led the joint eight departments to issue the opinions on the "front-runner" system of enterprise standards, and in 2019, the first list of front-runners was released; in 2020, the automobile was included in the key areas, and General Technology China Automobile Research Institute became an automobile evaluation agency, and released the first batch of new energy vehicle enterprise standard frontrunners in December.
In 2021, due to the continuous rise in popularity, multi-purpose trucks were included in the evaluation field, general technology China Automobile Research Institute carried out the assessment of pickup trucks, and Foton pickup trucks, Changan Kaicheng, and SAIC Maxus were the first batch of pickup truck companies to receive the title.

In addition, enterprises selected for the list of "front-runners" in enterprise standards will also enjoy the benefits of government capital support, government procurement assistance, social financing, credit support from financial institutions, and local government financial incentives, and provide reference for the government's selection of innovation contribution awards, quality awards, and brand value.
