Exterior details
To be honest, this product is almost a public face, standard to no longer standard 87 with a keyboard, after the upper cover is removed, the hull structure is revealed, the black version corresponds to the black positioning plate, the white version corresponds to the white positioning plate, the former may have some disadvantages in terms of RGB lighting effects. This detachable upper cover is fastened with a snap, and the bond is so strong that lifting the keyboard will not pull the top cover out. Needless to say, the benefits of the removable upper cover are that whether it is daily cleaning or changing the shell in a personalized direction, it is more convenient than the products of those heaven and earth cover structures. In addition, the detachable upper cover is also separately launched with a replaceable color upper cover combination, and the price is relatively cheap, which can meet some personalized keycap combinations.
RK87 RGB supports drive-free recording of RGB, up to 3 sets of backlight modes, and win/Mac dual system switching. The common FN key combination is placed in the F zone and has intuitive annotations, and the benefits of injection molding keycaps are reflected in this.

In terms of shaft body, you can choose RK's autonomous shaft body and Kaihua's BOX axis, and what you get in your hand is the autonomous red axis and the tea shaft, the former linear feel, the latter paragraph feel, the button falling process is accompanied by a slight "rustling sound", and the shaft core stability is general. Of course, the price is there, the sense of opponent is higher, it is recommended to choose the BOX axis in one step.
The feel of the big key may be the weakness of this keyboard, the satellite axis is not well tuned, resulting in abnormal feel, bottom stuffy and flesh. It is recommended to have a certain hands-on ability to cut your own feet to optimize.
At the price of 200 yuan, RK87 RGB also rarely adds a double-layer silenced cotton structure, with a sandwich cotton between the PCB and the positioning board, and a bottom cotton under the PCB. Since it is not a silicone pad, the shock absorption is inferior, so some cavity sounds can be heard in a quieter environment.
The hot-swappable solution adopts Kaihua shaft seat, which is compatible with three-legged and five-foot shaft bodies, and the LED is reversed. In terms of plugging and compatibility, it is not much different from the previous terminal seat hot plug.
Lighting effects
The ability of the white PC material to reflect light is stronger than the black material, which makes the RK87 RGB white version brighter than the black version.
Although it is almost interesting in the satellite axis tuning, but the cost performance is unparalleled, the 200 yuan price point keyboard also has a double silencer cotton structure that is not common in similar products, and other configurations have kept up with the mainstream pace, essentially completing the supplement of the RK entry-level product line.
