Developer Double Eleven today announced that it will be working together in Bethesda to co-produce a follow-up update to Fallout 76.

Originally a Sony studio, Double Eleven co-developed games such as Prison Engineer, Riot Fighter 3, minecraft: Dungeons, and more recently with Facepunch Studios to develop a console version of the multiplayer sandbox game Corrosion.

Double Eleven said it began contact with Bethesda in 2020 and has been working together since then, with the new Fallout 76 content coming online later this year.

Fallout 76 2022 Update Roadmap

Mark Tucker, design director of Fallout 76, recently said they were working on an updated roadmap for the game over the next five years, and it looked like they wanted to keep Fallout 76 running for the long term.

Although the premiere of "Fallout 76" was extremely bad, after several major updates, the game experience was significantly improved, and word of mouth gradually picked up.
