Recently, I have seen a lot of affordable low-end machines, so it is better to weigh it today. This time I bought the Huawei P50 Pocket, starting at 8988, but the price is not cheap. Received the courier, the box is light and thin, but also quite unexpected. After opening it, it is a bit lost, and the entire box only contains mobile phones, protective cases, card needles and paper materials. Not only is there no adapter, there is no charging cable.
But one thing to say, the P50 Pocket still feels quite good. We started with obsidian black, the thickness after unfolding is 7.2mm, the length of the fuselage is 170mm, the length of the fold is 15.2mm, plus the weight of 190g, the whole is not very heavy.
The use of side fingerprint design, card slots and buttons are placed on the left and right sides of the upper half, although the P50 Pocket at the corner of the sleek transition, but because the whole machine around the border are equipped with a number of antenna belts, pull down the P50 Pocket value.
However, the P50 Pocket is not bad after the expansion, with a 6.9-inch folding inner screen, a resolution of 2790 x 1188 pixels, and a maximum support of 120Hz refresh rate. The performance is equipped with Snapdragon 888 processing (does not support 5G), 4000mAh battery.

The external screen is also a major feature of the P50 Pocket, the main product features in addition to the above longitudinal folding scheme, there are several second screens. Although the size of the 1.04-inch second screen is not large, it can play a big role in actual use. This makes the P50 Pocket have more interactive gameplay in the folded state.
Comprehensive experience, P50 Pocket and Samsung Galaxy Z Flip positioning is similar, vertical folding scheme, the whole machine design is small, more inclined to the female market. Portrait folding is mainly to solve both to ensure a normal screen display, but also to make the phone more compact. The P50 Pocket is really well done.
Of course, the P50 Pocket also needs to face the test of creases and folding gaps from the folding screen mobile phone screen. We have indeed found in actual use that the P50 Pocket screen is under the breath screen, the screen crease will be more obvious, I don't know what the crease situation is like after long-term use. In addition, the P50 Pocket also uses a teardrop type folding hinge, which we will take a closer look at when disassembling.
