"Lotus" stands for pity, and those associated with it are pitiful. Lin Daiyu, Jia Yingchun, and Jia Xichun are all like this.
When Jia Baoyu first asked the question on the forehead, he named it "Ting Ting Hua Li", which is related to "lotus".
"Tingting" is from the Tang Dynasty poet Luo Ye's "Wild Goose" poem:
In the twilight of the new goose rising from Tingzhou, the red indigo flowers bloom water and the country is sad.
Thinking of the old garden tonight and the moon, several people reminisced about each other in the River Tower.
Early back Hu Frost passed through the Shu Building, and then went down to Tingzhou with the cold sun.
Jiangnan and Jiangbei are more parted, and they bear to report the sorrows of the two places every year.
The poem borrows from a distance to view the sandbar where the geese inhabit and reproduce, reminisces about the hometown and the old people, and feels sad and parting pain and mourning.
The goose has two meanings, one is to represent loyal and unswerving love. "Yanqiu Words" "Ask what is the love of the world, and teach life and death to agree" has been shown, which is a portrayal of Bao Dai's love.
Second, borrowing snow geese to refer to Lin Daiyu, "deep love is not long-lived, and Hui Ji will be hurt."
"Tingting" represents the Jia family, which is the foothold and habitat of Lin Daiyu, the big goose.
"Hua Pu" comes from the Tang Dynasty poet Cui Guofu's poem "Picking Lotus":
Jade flowers are scrambling, and the water in Jintang is turbulent.
Meet and fear each other, and ride the Magnolia boat.
The poem "Picking Lotus" is about the love of the lotus-picking woman, highlighting the "golden jade" attribute.
Lotus is a hibiscus, referring to Lin Daiyu. "Picking lotuses" died, with the intention of Lin Daiyu being sacrificed.
"Tingting Huapu" not only represents the love of Lin Daiyu and Jia Baoyu, Jia Baoyu wants to give Lin Daiyu a foothold and a safe home, but it also indicates that Bao Dai and Bao Dai will eventually part ways. Lin Daiyu wanted to sacrifice for the Jia family, and Dai died and married Xue Baochao.
Therefore, Jia Yuanchun was not satisfied with the "Tateshina Flower" that night, so he said, "The word 'Hua Ting' is appropriate, why 'Tingting'?" ”。
The implication is that "Xue Baochao" is very good, so why "Lin Daiyu". This is Jia Yuanchun's clear position on the two of them.
Combined with the Dragon Boat Festival, it is clear that Yuan Chun supported the marriage of Jin Yuliang against the marriage of Bao Dai. She removed the "Tateshina" on behalf of not giving Lin Daiyu a foothold in the Jia family. It indicates that Lin Daiyu will be "taken away" like Qingwen in the future, and will be forced to leave the Jia family to marry another country as a concubine of Xiaoxiang. Undoubtedly, it is also related to Jia Yuanchun.

Saying that he had reached the luogang of the flower, he felt that it was gloomy and bone-piercing, and the decaying grass on the two beaches was even more helpful to autumn feelings.
Jia Baoyu was not satisfied with the residual lotus, which led Dai Yu to say that Li Shangyin "left the residual lotus to listen to the sound of the rain".
The residual lotus is Lin Daiyu, the state of her withered life.
Li Shangyin's original poem is "Stay dry lotus to listen to the sound of rain", from "Su Luo Clan Pavilion Sending Cui Yong Cui Gong". The story of Li Shangyin is even more a portrayal of Daiyu's ending.
After the death of both of Li Shangyin's parents, he defected to his uncle Cui Rong and had a deep relationship with his cousin Cui Yong CuiGun. After his uncle's death, he had to leave the Cui family and go to the end of the world to find another way out. On the way, he stayed on the water pavilion of a family surnamed Luo, and on the autumn night, he smelled the rain and beat the dry lotus and made a sentimental and sad sound of "leaving the dry lotus to listen to the rain".
Li Shangyin's story completely corresponds to the change of "Ting TingHua Li" to "Hua Li" to Lin Daiyu's future departure from her uncle Jia's family and going to the end of the world.
The reason why Lin Daiyu changed "dry lotus" to "residual lotus" is that the dry lotus is dead, and the residual lotus is still alive. It is a symbol of herself.
In the future, Lin Daiyu will marry a husband with Jia Tanchun and Jia Tanchun's concubine Princess Ying'er, go to an overseas foreign country and die in tears.
However, the marriage of Lin Daiyu and Jia Baoyu is not all tragic, and there is another detail about Tateshina Huapu that gives an important hint.

Liu Wu'er is also the "shadow" of Lin Daiyu, she went to Yihong Courtyard to send poria cream to Fangguan, and as a result, she was caught by Lin Zhixiao's family and framed her for stealing, and she was imprisoned for one night and died of illness.
Liu Wu'er did not want to go to Yihong Courtyard, and Lin Daiyu wanted to marry Jia Baoyu, and both of them eventually died.
The key is still here in the "Tateshina", why did Liu Wu'er have an accident in this place? Cao Xueqin undoubtedly borrowed Liu Wu'er's affair, foreshadowing the end of Lin Daiyu's "being thrown out" and flying with Jia Baoyu Andrau Yan.
And here tomorrow morning changed to "flower", but it is still called "Tateshina", which is the meaning of Tateshina flower. It shows that the Jia family is more in favor of "Ting TingHua Li" and does not like to call it Hua Li.
Tingting flower pot represents the balance of Bao Dai, and is more inclined to the marriage of Bao Dai.
Hua Li represents the marriage of gold and jade.
Liu Wu'er was caught in the "Tateshina", the balance of innuendo was broken, and Jin Yuliang's marriage prevailed.
The name "Tateshina" has always existed, which also indicates that there are many people in the Jia family who are optimistic and support Lin Daiyu. At least later, like Jia Lian's little girl, Jia Baoyu's marriage was "a lin girl".
