Wen Zhengming's Lanting Yaji
In the ninth year of Yonghe, Wang Xizhi organized a graceful gathering at lanting in Huijishanyin. The quiet landscape and beautiful scenery attracted the praise of Celebrities such as Situ Xie'an, Cifu Family Sun Qi, Xie Wan, who was proud and proud, and Zhi Daolin, a senior monk.
In this Lanting Collection, eleven people each composed two poems, fifteen people became one poem each, and sixteen people could not make poems and were punished with three glasses of wine each. The gathering and good times of the forty-two people passed quietly in the meandering water and drinking and writing poetry unconsciously.
In order to preserve these masterpieces of drunkenness, everyone plans to summarize the poems and compile them into a collection to commemorate this grand event and leave a memory for future generations.
But if there is only poetry, who will do the preface? Therefore, some people coaxed Wang Xizhi, the convener of the meeting and the highly respected, to write a preface to record this collection. Wang Xizhi, who was half drunk and half awake, did not shirk, and riding on the wine, he used a rat whisker pen on the silkworm paper, impromptu waving, his heart and hands were free, and he wrote down twenty-eight lines, and the words were charming and vigorous, like three hundred and twenty-four words of divine help.
