Warner's DC game Suicide Squad: Victory over Justice League was originally scheduled to be released in 2022, but it has been officially announced that the game has been postponed to the spring of 2023. The news was consistent with what Bloomberg game reporters broke in early February.
Sefton Hill, creative director and co-founder of game developer Rocksteady, said in the announcement: "We made the tough decision to postpone Suicide Squad: Victory over Justice League until spring 2023, and I know the delay is frustrating, but we're working hard to make the best game possible. I'm looking forward to bringing chaos to the Met. Thank you for your patience".
Suicide Squad: Kill Justice League was released in 2020, and its production team Rocksteady developed the Batman: Arkham series trilogy. The game is an open-world shooter that supports up to four people to play cooperatively, telling the story of suicide squad member Harley Quinn, Death Shot, Man-Eater Shark, Captain Boomerang and others to save the world and confront the Justice League.
