Recently, the online car market obtained a set of spy photos of Hyundai's new Verna (the domestic counterpart model is Yuena), which debuted in China in 2016 and was named Yuena, and later launched the Chinese market for some reasons. It is reported that the new car will be upgraded in appearance and configuration, and is expected to be unveiled at the end of this year, the overall shape of the new car resembles the "small Elantra".
In terms of appearance, the overall design of Hyundai New Yuena is younger, the body line is more smooth, and it is equipped with a new shape of grille and headlight group. The rear part of the car has been redesigned to create a slip-on shape, which is more sporty than the current model. In terms of interior, the new car will adopt a new design style, will use a new LCD dashboard and a large size central control screen, and the sense of technology is stronger than that of the old model.
In terms of size, compared with the old model, the new car has been upgraded to 4405/1729/1469mm in length, width and height, and the wheelbase is 2600mm. In terms of power, Hyundai's new Yuena will be equipped with 1.4-liter and 1.6-liter naturally aspirated engines with a maximum power of 74kW and 91kW respectively, and the transmission system may be equipped with a 6-speed manual or automatic transmission.
