The mac studio's shell is secured with screws, and when you remove the rubber pad from the base, you can see the four screws, and when you remove it, you can see its internal structure.
Similar to previous speculation, the M1 Ultra has what can be called a "huge" volume, and the design of connecting two M1 Max pieces, although it only brings incomparable performance advantages, also makes its size equally incomparable.
According to the disassembly, it can be found that although the M1 Ultra is not small, the interior of the Mac Studio still maintains a high enough level of integration and leaves room for expansion.
It is worth mentioning that although the Mac Studio with the M1 Ultra chip is much thicker than the version with the M1 Max, Apple does not actually use a multi-layer motherboard stack, but crammed into a set of bulky cooling fans.
This cooling system is directly connected to the M1 Ultra, which brings more volume and weight, but it takes the heat dissipation system to the limit.
Overall, although the Mac Studio also adopts a highly integrated internal design, it guarantees scalability to a certain extent and avoids the once catastrophic heat dissipation problems of the cylindrical Mac Pro.
