I have been collecting foreign banknotes for more than ten years, but there are not many Russian rubles in my hand, so today I deliberately turned them all over to take pictures to show you:
1997 edition 10 rubles
This is a new edition of 10 rubles issued after the Russian currency reform in 1998, and the printed year 1997 is on the banknote. This set of ruble denominations from 5 rubles to the 5,000 rubles mentioned above is the same design style, with watermark areas at both ends, which is relatively rare in the paper money world.
Obverse: Communal bridge across the Yenisei River (Russian: Коммунальный мост (Красноярск)) and Paraskeva Pyatnitsa Chapel
Back: Krasnoyarsk Hydroelectric Power Plant
Watermark pattern: denomination numeral "10" and Palasco Vapyatnissa Chapel
This note was collected in 2011 when I first started playing with foreign currencies, and I have not studied it carefully, and I recently found that the watermarks on both sides are of good quality.
