Austria, distance from the park: some people, once missed, are not there

Some people, once missed, are not there

Baudelaire once made an extremely poignant insight: "Almost all our misfortunes are due to our inability to be alone in our own rooms." This sharp and kind word is probably the voice of every social fear.

The Austrian architectural firm Precht has designed a "distance park" in Vienna, with a 240 cm driveway and a 90 cm wide hedge as a partition unit, so that everyone can share this natural and vibrant public space. But even if you are close, you don't disturb each other, as if you are in your own room.

Inspired by fingerprints, Japanese Zen gardens and circular movements, the design is wrapped in layers of circles and circles with its own rhythm, whether it is high up in the air or in it. The ground is covered with pale red granite, in stark contrast to the green of the plants, each individual journey is about 600 meters long, and the height of the plantation changes with the journey, enhancing the mobility of the park.

Therefore, it is like a labyrinth, if two people start to go their separate ways from the middle of the way, it is likely that once they miss it, they will not be there.
