Wang Yongfen, also known as Zhiyu, graduated from the Fine Arts Department of Shandong Normal University. He is a member of the China Artists Association and the China Women Painters Association. He has studied at the Liu Dawei Character Painting Studio of the National Academy of Painting of China, the Ren Huizhong Character Painting Studio of Renmin University, the Chen Rong Character Painting Studio of Tsinghua University, the Liu Huaiyong Landscape Painting Studio of Tsinghua University, and is now the executive tutor of Ma Haifang Studio of Rongbaozhai Painting Institute, the tutor of the Character Painting Theme Creation Class of Rongbaozhai Painting Institute, the full-time painter of Rongbaozhai Painting Institute, the contracted painter of Tianjin Painting Academy, and the executive dean of Custom Painting Academy.

It is not easy for gay men to paint the characteristics of painting, as a female painter I think it is even more difficult, she is very obsessed with painting, first of all, she enjoys the process of painting, followed by her keen thinking, and then solid basic skills. This allows her to reach a whole new level.
Wang Yongfen is an assistant teacher in my character painting studio, of course, she is first of all a very outstanding young painter, but also a qualified teacher. Her painting language is rich and diverse: comic strips, white drawings, and Long Volumes of Shandong Style all reflect her solid form-making skills from sketching to creation and her ability to shape images with brush and ink.

As the saying goes: "One minute on stage, ten years off stage". In the past, I participated in the exhibition of her calligraphy and painting works, and what shocked me was that she had many large creative works, which showed that she had really worked hard, and her body and mind maintained a pure painting state, close to life, and created nature. Her work "Song of Gannan" is to express the life of the people in Tibetan areas, the character image is vivid, the pen and ink skills are profound, and the composition is full. She has a 10-meter-long pen hand scroll, all of which are sketches, and then through the art refinement of the national art exhibition to win the grand prize, it is not difficult to see that her art comes from her capture of the details of life, but also from her dedication and affection for painting.

We often say that "good memory is not as good as bad pen head", the ancients also have "diligent self-cultivation, quiet to cultivate morality", I observed that Wang Yongfen is a person who does not leave her hands and eyes, looking at her sketches, each one reveals her piety and seriousness, and more through the rationality and thinking of understanding life, which is not easy. In addition, the accumulation of her childhood hobbies that have continued to this day, as well as the thick and thin education derived from the art academy, sprouted a kind of vigorous force, and made a deep accumulation for her art to a new tomorrow.

I compare the search for our own painting language to digging a well to find water, aiming at our own identified position, persevering to dig down, we can always find a water source, Wang Yongfen uses her own painting language, gushing like a spring. In recent years, there have been various art exhibitions across the country every year, and as a young painter, Wang Yongfen has participated in eight consecutive times, each time or nominated or awarded. That is to say, she has her own unique artistic expression of painting, and this kind of painting language expression cannot reach this realm without artistic talent and future hard work and artistic understanding of the ontological language of painting.
I believe that as long as Wang Yongfen adheres to her own artistic path, with this firm persistence and the spirit of daring to explore and innovate, her paintings will shine.
