The Karma Clan, a mysterious tribe left behind in the depths of the clouds of history

Before entering the Cyprus, the People of Qi lived in the Shule River Valley in the west

Strolling through the beautiful Xinjiang and listening to the stories of the millennium, I am the uncle of the Tianshan Mountains. The three hundred years from the end of the Western Jin Dynasty to the beginning of the Southern and Northern Dynasties were the most turbulent years in the history of the mainland. In particular, the five major foreign forces headed by the Xiongnu, Xianbei, Qiangren, Qiang, and Hu people wantonly stirred up the storm of war, and the sixteen countries fought each other, so that the already weak Central Plains was torn apart and devastated, becoming a purgatory on earth. During this period, more than 200,000 young Han women were reduced to "two-legged sheep" and became the military food of the Hu population. In the 135 years of the "Wuhu Chaohua", the Han population has dropped from 20 million in its heyday to less than 4 million, and it can be said that the entire Han population has been slaughtered by 3/4, almost to the brink of extinction. However, do you know who in history caused the endless disasters of the Han nation? It is not a Xiongnu or a Qiang, but a Karmic Hu who was nomadic in the grasslands of Xinjiang and served as a slave of the Huns!

Karma: A nation that is short-lived

The Karma Clan, a mysterious tribe left behind in the depths of the clouds of history

Before entering the Country, the Xiongnu were subordinate to the Xiongnu and were called the Xiongnu Beibu

The time of shining in Chinese history is very short. During the Wei and Jin Dynasties, it was a nomadic people in the north. Before entering the fortress, it belonged to the Xiongnu, known as the Xiongnu Beibu, the Qiangqu Zhizhi. Although nominally part of the Huns, in reality it was only a small tribe attached to the Huns. The Karma Hu people are Caucasians with deep eyes, high noses, and many whiskers, and their ancestry is related to the Ōtsuki clan. The ancestors of the Karmichu were the Masagatai, a nomadic tribe that lived from the 6th century BC to the 2nd century AD, north of the Syr Darya River in Central Asia to Lake Balkhash, and belonged to the East Iranian race. "Masagatai" means "barbarian" in Iranian, and in Chinese it translates to "Ōtsuki". In 530 BC, Cyrus the Great of the Persian Empire, after invading Neo-Babylon, began an expedition against the Masaghtai people in the steppes of Central Asia. In one battle, Cyrus used a ruse to pretend to be defeated and fled. Late at night, when Prince Masagtai was sleepy and unprepared by the Persians, he personally led his soldiers to sneak into the Persian camp, resulting in an ambush by the Persians.

The ancestors of the Karmic people were the Ōtsuki people who lived in the steppes of Central Asia

The prince was embarrassed when he was captured alive, so he swung his sword and committed suicide. The Queen of Masagatay, who had lost her son, was outraged, and she sent emissaries to tell Cyrus: "I swear by the sun, the master of the Masagatai, that no matter how bloodthirsty and thirsty you may be, I will make you drink enough blood." Therefore, the two sides agreed on a date for the decisive battle. This war is extremely fierce. After the two sides finished shooting the arrows, they began to fight to the death in the shadow of the sword and light. As a result, the Persians were defeated and Cyrus the Great was killed. Queen Massagtai then filled the Persian blood with a leather sac and cut off the Cyrus head and placed it in the blood-filled leather sac. In the second half of the 3rd century BC, on the Mongolian plateau in the east, a man named Touman called himself Shan Yu and unified the nomadic tribes in the Yin mountains and Hetao regions to establish the Xiongnu Empire.

The Huns defeated the Great Moon Clan and became slaves of the Huns

After that, the Xiongnu Empire began to expand westward with the "Whip of God", defeating the Kangju, Amatsai and Masagataeans, and successfully occupying the vast steppes north of the Syr Darya River, and the defeated Masagatai became slaves of the Huns. After the return of the Xiongnu to the Han, the Masagtai moved east with the Huns to the Yiwu (present-day Hami, Xinjiang) grassland in the Shule River Valley, and then to the Mongolian steppe, and finally gradually migrated inland to the area of Qiangmu in Shangdangwuxiang County, Shanxi, where they lived with the Han, mainly engaged in nomadic, agricultural and small commercial activities. At this point, the Masaghtai had a new name called Karma.

The social status of the karma people is very humble, and they do the lowest work. In the folk, they can be freely sold in the market like livestock, while some able-bodied karmic beards are bought by dignitaries and put into the cage as playthings for duels, and this game of life and death is called "karma play".

After entering the plug, the karma people have a humble status and can buy and sell freely

The humble identity and inhuman treatment also planted the seeds of hatred in the hearts of the Karma Hu people, and this hatred finally broke out completely in the "Five Hu Chaos". When the iron hooves of Karma Hu trampled on the north and swept through the Central Plains, endless killing, blood stained the earth red. Millions of people have been displaced, separated from each other by war or starvation, and the Central Plains have become a land of white bones and wilderness, becoming a purgatory on earth. The horrific killing caused the people to resist strongly, and eventually led the People to the road of no return to the extinction of the dead race, and gradually disappeared into the long river of history.

Shi Le, from slave to emperor

Shi Le, who established Later Zhao, became the overlord of the north

The reason why Karma Hu, as a very ordinary nomadic people in the steppes of the northwestern part of the continent, can be remembered by history is because of a man named Shi Le. He was the only person in the history of the continent who had successfully rebelled against the emperor from a slave.

Shi Le, whose real name is Zao Le, experienced a very rough experience in his youth. At the age of twenty, he was sold to Shandong by Sima Teng, the assassin of the prefecture, in the name of raising military salaries, and became a slave in the family of the local powerful shi Huan. Because of Shi Le's peculiar appearance and penchant for riding and shooting, Shi Huan dispensed with his slave status and restored his freedom. After that, Shi Le began his 20-year grand plan. At first, he united with Wang Yang and eight other people as "horse thieves", and later as "twenty-eight horsemen", and moved to Shanxi and Shandong, and then defected to Sima Yingbu, the king of Chengdu, to send shi gong domain. Shi Le fought bravely and made many military achievements. After the "Rebellion of the Eight Kings", the Jin Dynasty split. In the first year of Yongxing, Liu Yuan, a Xiongnu who was then the governor of the Five Jin Dynasties, rebelled in Lishi, Shanxi, and established the Former Zhao regime, and the "Five Hu Chaohua" began. Liu Yuan claimed the title of empress, and Shi Le led his troops to annex and turn to Yuzhou. Shi Le was not only brave and good at war, but also strategic.

Shi Le advocated scripture and advised Nongsang

In the fourth year of Yongjia, Liu Cong succeeded to the throne, and Shi Le was given the title of General of the Eastern Expedition. After that, he set up a battalion of gentlemen, with Zhang Bin as the mastermind and Wang Yang as the general, commanding hundreds of thousands of troops to march south and fight in the north, plotting against Jiang han, defeating Jinrui, occupying Hebei, attacking and merging prefectures, breaking Luoyang, and Wang Mi, destroying Wang Jun, and capturing Emperor Huai. In 319 AD, when civil unrest broke out among the Xiongnu imperial family, Shi Le took the opportunity to become independent, occupied the North China Plain, established Later Zhao, and established the capital of Xiangguo, one of the Five Hu and Sixteen Kingdoms, and confronted Liu Yao, the former Zhao Emperor of Guanzhong, Shaanxi. After that, Shi Lexi took Guanzhong, captured Gou Xi and Cao Ling in the east, destroyed Former Zhao, plundered the Jin Dynasty, conquered the country, swept through the warlords in the north, and became the strongest country in the north.

As an emperor who rose among slaves, Shi Le was able to unify northern China, and his Wenzhi martial arts were indeed an outstanding emperor among the Sixteen Kingdoms at that time. After the founding of the People's Republic of China, he established various political systems with reference to the laws and regulations of the Wei and Jin Dynasties, set up schools, advocated classics, read the household registration, and persuaded peasants to teach, which played a certain role in stabilizing society. Especially in terms of culture and education, he required each county to set up local schools to cultivate reserve talents for the country, and these reserve talents must pass three strict examinations before they can truly become the reserve cadres of the state.

Shi Le created the precedent of the ancient imperial examination system

It is said that every time during the examination period, Shi Le would personally go to the school to conduct examinations for college and elementary school students, and give commendations to students with good grades. At the same time, it was stipulated that the recommended Xiucai and Filial Piety should also undergo examinations, which also laid the foundation for the later Sui Dynasty to implement the imperial examination system. Not only that, Shi Le also did it himself, although he was illiterate, he often asked people to read the history of the scriptures to him, and he especially liked to listen to the "Book of Han", which shows that Later Zhao attached great importance to the Han cultural scriptures. However, Shi Le's law and government were harsh, especially the implementation of the policy of "hu and Han division", which connived at the behavior of the Qiang people in oppressing foreign races. It is precisely because of racial discrimination that social contradictions have intensified, and also laid the foundation for the later division and extermination of karma.

Karma people, into the deepest part of history

The Karma people are important participants in the Wuhu Chaohua

Although the Wuhu Chaohua was launched by the Huns and the Xiongnu, it was the Qiang people led by Shi Le who caused the greatest damage to the Central Plains.

Ferocious, brutal and bloodthirsty, wherever the hooves of the iron hooves pass, there is blood flowing and bones are like mountains. In the Battle of Yancheng in Henan Province alone, the Princes, soldiers and commoners of the Western Jin Dynasty hunted and killed more than 100,000 people with bows and arrows. According to historical records, the Qiang people never carried military food when marching and fighting, but used the cattle and Han women robbed along the way as military food to feed, known as "two-legged sheep". Whenever the war began, they marched forward with "two-legged sheep", providing for the soldiers to rape and entertain at night, and slaughtering and cooking during the day, in a very cruel way. What is a "two-legged sheep"? Because the young woman who was slaughtered, her flesh was so delicious, she raced the lamb. There are also advantages and disadvantages about "meat", the old and thin man calls it "Rao Puts the Fire", the girl is called "No Envy Sheep", and the child is "And Bone Rotten". This means that old and thin men are not easy to cook and need to add some more firewood; young women taste better than mutton; children have fine skin and tender meat, and the meat is cooked with bones. In the decades of the Karma Scourge, hundreds of thousands of young women have been eaten, and such a beastly behavior is shocking!

In 333, Shi Le fell ill and died, and the Later Zhao imperial family was infighting, and his nephew Shi Hu killed the crown prince Shi Hong and stole the throne. During his reign, he coveted pleasure and exercised tyranny, resulting in desolation of the land and withering of the population. From Chang'an to Luoyang to Yecheng, there are crowds of people fleeing the wilderness along the way, and trees are full of people who hang themselves. In 349, Shi Hu raised his grandson Ran Min of the Han Dynasty to rebel and establish himself as king, known in history as Ran Wei. In 350 AD, Ran Min issued the "Order to Kill Hu", mobilizing the Han people throughout northern China to massacre the Qi people, and for a time the blood flowed into a river, and hundreds of thousands of Qi people were killed in Xiangcheng alone. In this Han Jedi counterattack, the Jurchens were almost completely killed, and only more than 10,000 people fled north and defected to Murong Xianbei. Later, the Qiren helped Murong Shi defeat Ran Min and enter the Central Plains. After the fall of Ran Wei, the Qiren became mercenaries under Murong Shi's rule.

Hou Jing's rebellion turned the wealthy Jiangnan into a thousand miles of red land

More than two hundred years later, Hou Jing once again stepped onto the stage of history. In 547, in order to avoid the blows of northern Wei, Hou Jing led 800 people to the south to defect to The Liangwu Emperor Xiao Yan. Soon, Hou Jing rebelled in Shouyang, Anhui, and led his troops to attack Nanjing in four ways. After the destruction of the city, the Qi people began to plunder, Emperor Wu of Liang was imprisoned, and the people were slaughtered. In 551, Hou Jing declared himself emperor and established the Han State. Hou Jing then began to create bloody racial exterminations throughout the counties of Jiangnan. For a time, killings broke out, causing corpses in the Jiangnan area to be scattered and uninhabited, and the once prosperous and fertile Jiangnan became a thousand miles of red land, known in history as the "Houjing Rebellion".

After the dynasty, there is no record of the karma in the history books

Hou Jing's perverse behavior was met with fierce resistance from the people of Jiangnan. In 552, the Liang generals Wang Shengquan and Chen Ba led an army to attack and conquer Nanjing, and Hou Jing fled with the remnants. Soon after, he was killed by his men. The angry people then ate Hou Jing's corpse. At this point, the tyrannical karma was wiped out. After the Sui Dynasty, there was no record of the karma in the history books, and it completely ended in the depths of the clouds of history.
