Water Margin 108 generals, there are only 3 women, namely the mother worm Gu Sister-in-law, the mother Night Fork Sun Erniang and the Yizhang Qing Hu Sanniang. Even if you don't understand that the first two are either mixed in black and white, or monopolize the murderous business of selling human meat steamed buns, just from the nicknames of the mother worm or the mother night fork, you can guess that they are mostly evil women and sisters-in-law.
And this Zhangqing refers to the slender jewelry with the ear piercing, one is pointed, the other is thicker, and the top is a small dipper. Maybe it's to emphasize a delicate small, different.
You especially remember the little raccoon water margin card collected when I was a child, this [Yizhang Qing· Hu San niang] should be one of the best card faces, delicate and charming, Li and Sa combined that is just right.
And this third lady, the birth is not simple, this is the big miss of the family village, both literary and martial. Such a strange woman, when she appeared in "Water Margin", the poem written by Shi Nai'an for her was like this——
Misty sideburns cloud bearded woman general, crested shoes treasure stirrup oblique step. The gold armor is lined with red yarn, and the lion is brash with a willow waist. The frost knife slashed the male soldiers indiscriminately, and the jade fiber hand took the fierce general alive. Natural beauty begonia flowers, a green should be the first to go out.
The highlight moment of Hu Sanniang seems to be when she captures Wang Ying, wins ou peng and Ma Lin in a row, and even coldly wants to stab Song Jiang to death, however, the next thing she encounters is Lin Chong, and then she is caught.
After that, Zhujiazhuang was beaten down by the people of Liangshan, and the entire Hujiazhuang was burned and killed by Li Kui- "Hu Taigong was a young and old man, killed as many as he could, and did not leave one."
The only two who survived were The Third Lady and her brother-in-law, Hu Cheng. However, the whereabouts of this Hu Cheng are unknown. In any case, the third lady really ended up with a broken family and no relatives.
The next trajectory of The third lady's life is lamentable, the third lady was arranged by Song Jiang to marry her own defeated general - "short and frustrated" Wang Ying, oh, yes, this product also likes to eat people's hearts, and I don't know whether this Wang Ying is a human or a beast.
The small family jasper married a hooligan, which is really the "blessing" of Wang Ying.
In the story that followed, Hu Sanniang dedicated her light and heat to Liangshan in a down-to-earth manner, and the other two good men, Peng Xuan and Hao Siwen, were captured by her, and even Princess Tianshou of the Liao Kingdom was a defeated general under her command. The charm and combat strength of the third lady are far beyond many "Haojie".
However, her ending was that she was killed with a dark weapon during the conquest of Fangla. When attacking Muzhou, Zheng Biao stabbed Wang Ying to death, and in order to avenge Wang Ying, Hu Sanniang pursued Zheng Biao, presumably because Hu Sanniang was too emotional, so she was killed by a secret weapon.

There are many characters in the whole "Water Margin", as a legend of this "grand narrative", in addition to some protagonists with their own aura, some small roles can only be "prop characters" that are easy to be ignored.
In "Reading water margin: Thirteen Scales of Human Nature", it is mentioned that a more tragic character than the third lady of The Three Niangs - the daughter of Cheng Wanli in Dongping Province, because we do not know the name of the girl, we have to call her Miss Cheng.
It is said that this Miss Cheng looks very beautiful, and she should still be too strict with the pearl in her palm, and she has always been reluctant to marry out. In ancient times, and today, the marriage of officials' children is mostly related to politics, and if Miss Cheng has not been engaged, it can only mean that Cheng Wanli is too spoiled.
If you look at the position of Taishou in Dongping Province, Cheng Wanli's official is not small--because if you look at it in the Song Dynasty, although there is no official name of "Taishou", it is probably equivalent to the local administrator and military chief.
Note that Dongping Province is not small.
Cheng Wanli had a subordinate named Dong Ping, nicknamed "Double Gun General", who was originally the Military and Horse Governor of Dongping Province. He has repeatedly asked someone to come to the door to propose relatives, and Cheng Taishou will certainly not agree - subordinates to propose relatives, this is considered to be a high climb, who will accept it.
This Dong Ping was estimated to be resentful, and after he was captured by Song Jiang, he immediately surrendered, and then swung the butcher knife at his former old boss, who took a group of Liangshan people and horses, rushed into the city, and "killed the Cheng Taishou family and took this daughter."
Like The Third Lady, Miss Cheng, who had no choice, went to Liangshan in this way.
Next, the story about Miss Cheng ends here in the book "Water Margin". Dong Ping was killed in battle during the conquest of Fangla, and Miss Cheng must have become a widow.
In Reading the Water Margin: Thirteen Scales of Human Nature, Absalom classifies The Third Lady and Miss Cheng as "Dog Town Girls" in the concept of "Dog Town Girls"—a term derived from the movie Dog Town.
If you think about it, the young women in these stories can probably only exchange sex for their own survival possibilities, however, reality is more cruel than drama.

When I was a child, I read the "Four Great Masterpieces" because I thought it was funny: you saw that Sun Monkey was so tossed and turned, and finally cultivated to achieve positive results; Zhuge Liang had to be personal in his own affairs, and finally "died before he could get out of the teacher"; the story of Jia Fu showed the love and hatred of young men and women; as for The Water Margin, watching a group of good men "Kuang Fu Justice" and doing it for The Heavenly Path, what a pleasure!
However, when you grow up and read the "Four Masterpieces", you may be more interested in the description of the characters — such as various poems than stories.
"Romance of the Three Kingdoms" is too illusory, the Three Kingdoms in the main history are far more exciting than the Yanyi, and the more real side of the Shu Han also makes people feel "history, oh, it was so" or "history, but so" - do not know that "the country does not ignore history, notes have no official"?
As for "Water Margin", it seems to be the story of 105 men and 3 women, but if you calculate carefully, the real image of standing up is only a few dozen, and the rest are side dishes for the main dish. At the same time, the whole book is actually (probably) nothing more than a great tragedy in which a camper stains his hat red with the blood of others.
In the whole "Water Margin", I did not read how many "righteous deeds" the good men "did for Skywalker". Although some people are forced to "kill people and cross goods" because the Song court is decayed and the people are not happy, but all kinds of sieges and land raids, the lives of ordinary people have no impact? How many innocent people died in the melee?
Are the things done by the good men of Liangshan "just"? Or rather, they may not be the "decent" defined in the novel. This is not a good thing for the reader – because if there is a clear "good" and a clear "evil" in the story, the various conflicts between the two sides are well understood.
Throughout the book, the first of the 108 people to jump out was Gongsun Sheng, an almost magician-like Daoist who had long been warned by his master to stay away from right and wrong, and to return to the hidden mountains before conquering Fang La. And those who already have an excellent home after being recruited are all "craftsmen", such as An Daoquan, Jin Dajian, HuangFuduan, Xiao Rang, Le He and so on.
As for Li Jun, Tong Wei, Tong Meng, Li Ying, Chai Jin, Dai Zong, Zhu Tong and others, they may not be considered first-line characters in the novel, but have their own good endings.
Ironically, Song Jiang, who was bent on seeking glory, finally ended up with "asking for death".
Strictly speaking, Song Jiang, as a local abbot, is originally a black and white snake, and it is pure nonsense to expect such a figure to "uphold justice".
Song Jiang I personally don't like very much. At the same time, an important role at the beginning of the whole book can also be briefly talked about - Lin Chong.
Some people may like the character of Lin Chong, but I personally don't get too cold. Especially after watching Zhang Jiahui's "The True Colors of Heroes", I feel that Lin Chong's image is quite small - in this movie, Zhang Jiahui plays Lin Chong, and Wang Zuxian plays Lin Chong's wife.
When Absalom analyzed The Image of Lin Chong in "Reading the Water Margin: Thirteen Scales of Human Nature", he placed it in the "middle class"——
He's a little moral, but he doesn't stick to it much; he's a little pursuer, but he doesn't take it seriously either.
He can love someone, but not completely; he can be nice to his friends, but only to a limited extent.
His greatest concern is to live a peaceful life easily.
As long as the days are stable, other things can fool the past.
In this world, most people are like this. What makes Lin Chong different from others is that he is high in martial arts.
If that's aside, he's very much like us ordinary people.
In my personal opinion, ordinary people are actually a little bit worse than the "middle class", the core is that a major feature of the "middle class" is "conservative", feel that the status quo is not bad, and there is no motivation to change - unless like Lin Chong, forced to a desperate situation will jump up.
However, the survival flexibility of the "middle class" is very low, in order to maintain its own "class glory", carrying heavy mortgages, car loans and various consumption vanities, so that they do not have the ability to resist risks. Under the economic depression, enterprises eliminate redundant personnel, and it is easy to focus on these "twilight layers" that are a little older and less capable than the younger generation.
If you agree that Lin Chong is "middle class", it seems that Lin Chong's ending implies the end of "middle class".
After the conquest of Fang La, as a general who survived the 36 days of gangxing, it was fortunate that he did not die on the battlefield, considering that he was originally an official of the Eight Classics of Zheng'er, after returning to Tokyo, he should be able to be made a magistrate, and from then on, he would have no worries about food and clothing, and enjoy the happy life of the past.
However, Lin Chong suffered from wind paralysis in the middle of the way - this wind paralysis is understood as a stroke. Finally, he died of illness at Liuhe Temple in Hangzhou.
It's so wronged.

Like the above experience of "Water Margin", I can talk a lot, but as I get older, I feel more and more like "for giving new words to say strongly".
Personally, it is difficult for me to give a clear [good] or [inferior] evaluation of "Reading Water Margin: Thirteen Scales of Human Nature", because in the years before reading this book, I have seen a lot of things like "xx pin water margin", "xx reading Jin Yong", "xx talking about the Three Kingdoms".
The reader's reading of any book, or the "interpretation" of a famous book like "Water Margin", is like the reading comprehension that we had to deal with in order to take the exam, but the reading comprehension of the school exam has a standard answer, and the reading comprehension of the social exam has an answer, and this answer is better than nothing.
What we do is almost always put the story of the past in the sense of today. People of different eras can interpret different contents, as long as they can be logical and self-consistent. As for whether it is the author's original intention, it does not matter at all.
Absalom, author of "Reading the Water Margin: Thirteen Scales of Human Nature," believes that Shi Nai'an "would instinctively let the characters talk and act like this, let them have their own personalities, their own behavioral logic, as to why they wrote this, he may not have carefully considered it."

The novel writing tutorial will tell the writer that he should write this way and that way, as if every paragraph should have a clear intention, and every plot should play a specific role. In fact, it is impossible for a top writer to write that way. If every time he writes a paragraph, he clearly knows the purpose of his writing, then he is at most a second-rate writer.

I do not agree with the above argument, the first-class novelist "may not have carefully deliberated", not because he did not consider that every paragraph should have a clear intention, but in the years of writing exercise, his creation has been based on a habit (instinct) - just like many businessmen know how to observe the color of speech, see people talk, see people talk, see ghosts and talk about ghosts, because in a large number of practices and trial and error, he has a set of handling modes.
Before this set of processing modes was formed, he would speculate, review, and iterate.
At the same time, what the "storyteller" does is actually to tell the story of his own experience, summarize the truth, borrow a familiar concept, and repeat it with a skin.
After all, the seven seven eight eight of human nature is actually just that.
