- "My Ninety Years" Reading Sense

Autumn light is still like spring light (new work review)

I received Mr. Shu Peide's inscription "My Ninety Years - Self-description of the "Ordinary Soldier" on the Literary Front", and read it in one breath. Here are chapters such as "My Encounter as a Secretary", "I Also Became a Gunner", "Unforgettable Hanzi" and other chapters that I am familiar with, and also include many new works that I have not read. The book is divided into 6 series: "I and the Writers Association", "I and Children's Literature", "My Mentor and Friend", "My Pen Cultivation Career", "My Family Affection", "My Sunset Time", with "I" as the protagonist, the snow and mud claws, connecting the life trajectory of the author and literature. After reading, there is a feeling of flipping through the thick old photo album, falling flowers and flowing water, becoming a grand view, eyebrows appearing, vivid. This book is undoubtedly the best gift for Mr. Shu Peide's ninetieth birthday.

In the field of children's literature, Shu Peide is a leader, organizer, observer, critic and builder, saying that he is like a big tree in the garden of children's literature, sheltering and nurturing generations of children's writers in the shade, and probably he will not agree, because he has always been humble and easy. In the book, he calls himself a dragon runner and a miscellaneous person more than once, and is a straggler, which is the most simple and sincere feeling for the children's literature he loves all his life. When editing the book "Shu Peide on Children's Literature", he insisted on using the word "talk" instead of the word "discussion". He said that the title of the book, which uses "talk about children's literature" instead of "on children's literature," is "tailor-made and more realistic." This is very illustrative of Shu Peide's basic cognition, attitude and feelings about his role and the work he has done, and he has pulled his body very low and is unwilling to do a posture of lifting his arms and hanging high, which is very consistent with the style of the book.

However, when it comes to the concept of children's literature, his attitude is clear-cut. For whom? He said children's literature was "created for hundreds of millions of children" on the mainland. Authoring standards? He said that "people are educated with emotion and beauty", which is "the artistic characteristics and functions of children's literature". What are the requirements for writers? He said, "Writers of children's literature should always maintain a childlike heart." Losing the child's heart and losing the gift of childhood life to oneself may not capture the beauty and poetry in life, and cannot capture the unique emotions, psychology and imagination of children. These three aspects constitute his stable view of children's literature for decades, and are particularly eye-catching for the current situation of children's literature today.

In the book, you can also see his feelings for his teachers and ordinary authors. It is easy to write about the elders of high moral standing or the younger generations who have achieved fame, and it is easy to add flowers and fat, or become perfunctory and shouting in the style of human feelings. But Shu Peide can write such articles from the truth, plain and touching. In particular, "A Book of Poetry Connects Us Both", about the relationship with an amateur author who has not met in decades. In June 1956, the China Youth Publishing House asked Shu Peide to do the preliminary review and compilation of the poetry collection "Tell Me, The Wind from the Motherland" by Cai Qingsheng, a volunteer soldier. After the poetry collection was published, he retained it to this day and finally contacted Cai Qingsheng in his old age. For more than 60 years, from youth to white hair, how many migration bumps have been experienced, and he is not his acquaintance or relative, Shu Peide can cherish a thin collection of poems to this day, which shows his seriousness and delicacy. Such small details, which have been outside the literature, are particularly admirable and respected.

The two series of "My Family Affection" and "My Sunset Time" have made me more aware of the aspects of Shu Peide's life. Reading "It's Hard to Say Goodbye When You Meet", and taste his love for his relatives; reading "Childhood Memories", who can think of such a gentle and humble elder who stood on a chair stacked on the Eight Immortals Table, learning Peking Opera martial arts, and jumping down from above at once? Perhaps, with such a childhood experience, fate will make him and children's literature a lifelong indissoluble relationship. There is also a "Diary of Retiring for 23 Years", the most chic, including the year-end summary of the last day of each year from 1998 to 2020, life writing, family and friends, home travel, illness and medical treatment and other aspects, bit by bit, deleting complexity and simplicity, clearly and interestingly leaving his footprints and traces. Such a string of beads, montage-style splicing flashbacks, at least I have not seen. On December 31, 2004, he wrote: "In the evening, dishes such as dried scallops and steamed osmanthus fish were made, and the family raised a toast to wish the New Year well." On December 31, 2012, he wrote: "Kun and I are physically and mentally good, and we can take care of ourselves; we have visited several old colleagues and friends who are sick by bus. On December 31, 2014, he wrote: "Reading Li Donghua's "The Glory of Youth", I have read three chapters and more than 60 pages. "These three sets of close-ups are not a big deal, but don't forget that the author is an elderly man. We see his passion for life as always, his friendship with his friends as always, and his concern for young writers as always. These are three vivid and warm pictures.

The poet Brodsky said: "The influence of a poet is a kind of radiation and radiation, and it will pass on to one generation and two generations." "Shu Peide is like this, he uses his words, his work, and even more with his heart, feelings and spirit, he influences us and will pass it on to the next generation and the next two generations." Because of this influence, he also inherited from the previous generation, such as Zhao Jingshen, Yan Wenjing, Sha Ding, Yuan Qianli, Han Zi in the book...

Close the new book, still unfinished, write down a poem of oil, as a feeling after reading this book, and wish Mr. Shu Peide health and longevity ——

Children's literature is busy all its life,

Ninety winds and frosts stain the sunset.

The red claw slush leaves the years,

Fly-headed crane hair lesson article.

How new the deep branches are,

The valley blossoms late after the fragrance.

Dragon set love does not quit old,

The autumn light is still like spring light.
