The Shanghai Sports Museum, which has accumulated several generations of sports people and lasted three years of curating and construction, was completed and opened in Red July. The Shanghai Sports Museum is located in the Sports Building of Shanghai Municipal Cultural Relics Protection Unit, No. 150 Nanjing West Road. The Sports Building, formerly known as the Xiqiao Youth Association Building, was built in 1928. Under the premise of protecting the historical style, the construction team carefully and repeatedly demonstrated that the space with a total construction area of about 2,000 square meters on the 1-3 floors of the sports building was re-planned and designed. The new Shanghai Sports Museum has four main exhibition halls of The Boat of History, the Light of the Olympic Games, the City of Vitality and the Window of the Future, with an exhibition area of 1813 square meters, including more than 1,200 exhibits and more than 500 historical pictures.
