There has also been a saying on the Internet that Ukrainian girls are white-skinned and beautiful, and they are very friendly to the Chinese, most of them hope to marry to China, and if they have the opportunity to marry one and go home, they will make a lot of money.
Whether this view is true or not, there is another topic about Ukrainian women, which is indeed true, that is, Human traffickers in Ukraine are extremely rampant, and the trafficking is often young women. Once in their clutches, what awaits will be a purgatory on earth.
So what happens to ukrainian women who have been trafficked? What is the reason why human traffickers in Ukraine are so rampant?
One or two can be seen in what happened to the victim, Cadilla.
Kidnapped Kadia
The young and beautiful Kadia has a happy family, a husband who loves her deeply, Serioza, and a cute boy at the age of five, all of which may seem very happy, but in fact, they have been struggling for their livelihood.
After Cadilla told the news that she was pregnant again, the family became even more upset, so after consulting with her mother, Kadia decided to leave Ukraine and work abroad, because they heard that working abroad could be paid very well.
Unfortunately, Kadia had just embarked on her journey when she was targeted by the trafficker Vlad.
Vlad is gentle and honest in appearance, at first glance is completely a warm-hearted look, Vlad pretends to be with Cadilla, after gaining Kadia's trust, he said that he has acquaintances abroad, can help Cadia introduce jobs, and pay a good salary. The simple Kadia did not perceive Vlad's disguise at all, and thus fell into the trap of the trafficker Vlad, and was finally sold to a pimp in Turkey, Apo.
Apo has always been a fierce character, and he is extremely cruel to "sexual goods" such as Kadia, and drugging, beating, and rape are common means.
Perhaps because of this, after completing the transaction with Apo, Vlad found out in his conscience and told Kadia's husband Serioza the news.
After learning that Kadia had been sold, Serioza quickly contacted the police and decided to pretend to be a trafficker to buy Kadia back from Awa.
In this way, after agreeing on a location with Awa, the local police quickly set up an ambush and waited for Awa's arrival at the predetermined location.
But after arriving at the location, when Serioza and Apo were on the phone, a police officer suddenly sounded the siren for some reason, so Apo became vigilant and could no longer be contacted.
Still unwilling to give up his wife, Serioza went to Turkey alone, still pretending to be a trafficker to negotiate with Apo, and after several twists and turns, Serozza finally bought his wife back.
But after months of inhuman torture, Kadia was traumatized both physically and psychologically, but their children were also miscarried.
At the same time, Vlad, who was arrested for human trafficking, only faces five years in prison, and Ukraine's punishment for human trafficking is so light that it has to be lamented.
What happened to Kadia was tragic, but for other Trafficked Ukrainian women, she was lucky to escape from the extremely rampant traffickers.
Most of the trafficking comes from poor areas
In February 2021, the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime released a Global Trafficking Report, which showed that from 2004 to 2018, the number of detectable trafficked persons continued to rise, of which 46% were adult women, and 19% of girls and 15% of boys.
Half of these trafficked populations are used for sexual exploitation, 38 per cent are forced into forced labor, and 12 per cent are forced to commit crimes or sell body organs, buy and sell marriages, etc.
These cases of human trafficking occur in countries around the world, but the most frequent crimes are in poor countries and regions.
Ukraine is one such poor country.
Although it is located in Europe, Ukraine is undoubtedly an exception compared to many developed countries in Europe. Ukraine is poor, its domestic economy is very depressed, the number of jobs available is far from sufficient, and the salaries are extremely low, even in their capital, most of them do not exceed 3,000 yuan.
In this context, The people at the bottom of Ukraine are living very hard and have to find another way out, and many young women are either voluntarily or forced into the "sex industry".
At the same time, in the Ukrainian people, the "surrogacy industry" has also quietly emerged, and successful surrogacy can reap tens of thousands of dollars in remuneration, which can be said to be a huge profit compared with the domestic economy in Ukraine.
Ukraine thus has the name "European womb" and "European brothel". For a country, this is undoubtedly a great shame, and for its citizens, it is even more unbearable doom.
Under such a thriving gray industry, more evil will naturally breed, and human trafficking has become a part of Ukraine's "pornography service industry" and has become more and more rampant.
Traffickers are rampant and difficult to suppress
Also due to the economic downturn, many young people in Ukraine want to go abroad to develop in the hope of getting a better living environment. Traffickers often prey on such groups, luring them into high-paying jobs abroad, but in fact packing up the victims and selling them to their families.
This next family is often a pimp, but there are also a few who are more bad human organ traders.
In 2016, Ukrainian police arrested a trafficker who, ironically, turned out to be a teacher who was trafficked to her students.
Even teachers are involved in human trafficking, which shows how serious the problem of human trafficking is in Ukraine.
In fact, the Ukrainian government has also cracked down on human trafficking, which is becoming increasingly rampant due to the prosperity of the "pornography service industry". However, in the case of the continuous downturn in the domestic economy, the "pornography service industry" undoubtedly supported the survival of many people, and finally it was not resolved, and even the law was amended to change prostitution from a criminal crime to an administrative punishment, as long as the fine was paid, it could be treated as if nothing had happened, providing protection for the pornography industry in disguise.
The root cause of human trafficking in Ukraine is the "pornographic service industry", the root cause can not be suppressed, there are more and more cases of human trafficking, even if the police have done something, but under the temptation of such huge profits, human traffickers have fallen one by one, one after another, and more and more rampant.
For the biggest victims, young Ukrainian women, this is undoubtedly a vicious circle. If you want to get rid of domestic difficulties and seek development opportunities abroad, you will face the risk of being targeted by human traffickers, and many people who stay in China will be forced to engage in the "pornography industry" because of their livelihoods.
And for the perpetrators and traffickers, in the case of the country's poverty, they have no better source of income than to continue to do evil for blood-stained money. After these people have tasted the huge profits of human trafficking, where can they still see the meager income of serious work, coupled with the fact that the domestic crackdown on crime is not strong, the law is even more relaxed, so it is a road to the black, and the latecomers are also gushing under envy.
This dilemma facing Ukraine is also a problem that exists in most poor or unstable areas and needs to be solved urgently, and it is difficult to suppress it by fighting crime alone.
If we want to completely get rid of this dilemma, we must start with the phrase "Ukraine is too poor" to solve it. If the economy of the country and region can be revitalized, then its society can be less turbulent, and the living environment of the people can be healthy.
Therefore, it is fundamental that the country is rich and strong, and the people live and work in peace and contentment. Everyone has work to do, a salary to get, and a lot of food, clothing, and warmth, so there will not be so many people who have left their homes, and there will naturally not be so many opportunities for traffickers to take advantage of.
