At present, focusing on the reduction and efficient utilization of carbon dioxide emissions in coal-based industries such as coal mining, power generation and coking, the laboratory, in cooperation with Tsinghua University, the Chinese Academy of Sciences and other units, is developing new technologies such as low calorific value coal clean power generation, carbon dioxide efficient and low-consumption capture, carbon dioxide mineralization utilization, etc., and provides scientific and technological support for the realization of low-carbon clean process reengineering in coal-based industries by carrying out low-carbon development path research and zero-carbon industrial park demonstrations in key industries.
