Regarding Li Hongzhang, this person has always been quite controversial. Many people scolded him as a "traitor" and personally signed countless unequal treaties that humiliated the country, which was simply not a pity; but some people thought that he was "a figure in thousands of years of Chinese history.". In any case, Li Hongzhang's ability is beyond doubt.
I don't know whether Li's descendants are intentional or unintentional, they rarely have anyone to do politics for officials, or to do business, or to follow the text, anyway, it is best not to be an official. The Li Yinxuan to be introduced today, although he is not famous for Zhang Ailing, Li Jiachang and others, he has a legendary life.
Li Yinxuan, born in 1911, is the grandson of Li Hongzhang's fifth brother Li Fengzhang, that is, Li Hongzhang's nephew, under the influence of the family, Li Yinxuan received a good education from an early age, read through Chinese and foreign history, and was most interested in ancient Chinese history, so he embarked on the road of archaeology and collection.
At the age of 13, Li Yinxuan bought the first ancient coin in his life, which made him happy for several days, and since then, he has been out of control, and the "Great Song Tongbao Dangshi" of the Southern Song Dynasty, the "Five Cents of the Zhizhengquan Banknote" of the Yuan Dynasty, and the ancient Roman coins were all collected by him, and later reached more than 30,000 pieces.
At the age of 19, Li Yinxuan saw the ancient Chinese bronzes for the first time and was fascinated, but the bronzes were old and small, and it was not easy to collect, but Li Yinxuan collected more than 200 bronzes in his lifetime.
Later, in order to facilitate his own collection of things, and in order not to let everyone pull The ancestor Li Hongzhang to his head, Li Yinxuan gave himself a pseudonym, called "Bao Shenfu", known as "Mr. Bao". In the 1940s and 1950s, Mr. Bao always wore a proper dark robe, fair-skinned Sven, and a bookish atmosphere, often coming to the antique market, and the key came and went without a trace, becoming a unique scenery in the eyes of Shanghai's collectors.
As more and more things were collected, Li Yinxuan's study could not be put down, so he asked the family to constantly vacate places to put his treasures, and later 72 rooms were vacated, and the keys to the room, Li Yinxuan carried with him, never left, as soon as he had time, he opened the rooms and observed them one by one.
The most remarkable thing is that Mr. Li Yinxuan has identified and written evidence of each of his collections, found out all the historical records related to them, and copied them, and his love for them is almost overflowing.
However, the advent of the ten-year catastrophe completely broke Li Yinxuan's happy life - suddenly a group of people rushed into Li Yinxuan's home, saw what "collections" were smashed, like Li Yinxuan, who regarded cultural relics as life, his heart was like a knife, and he did not want to die, but he was already unable to protect himself, how could he protect his beloved collection?
That night, Li Yinxuan made a decision to donate all the cultural relics in his family to the Shanghai Museum, hoping that the museum would protect them.
Only to see that the house was a mess, showing that it had just been destroyed, Li Yinxuan had no expression, saw them coming before moving his mouth slightly, took them to a room, full of bronzes, most of which were treasures, such as Xiaochen Shan And Lu Houzun, a total of more than 100 pieces, each of which had notes made by Li Yinxuan next to them.
Because the museum could not accept "donations" in this period at that time, so it was accepted in the name of "custody on behalf of", because the bronzes were too many and too large, and there were 6 trucks loaded that year, Li Yinxuan watched others load them into the car, motionless, and when they were all loaded, Li Yinxuan tightly held Ma Chengyuan's hand and said: "These things of mine, in the future, I will ask you to bother more..." Everyone present, their eyes were red.
Finally, ten years later, the first thing Ma Chengyuan wanted to do was to quickly return the things to Li Yinxuan! However, one person moved faster than him, and that was Li Yinxuan's wife, Ms. Qiu Hui, who told Ma Chengyuan that in the years after the cultural relics were sent away, her husband's health was worse than a day, and he died in 1972.
Ma Chengyuan did not know what to say, Ms. Qiu Hui continued: "My husband Li Yinxuan, who has loved to collect cultural relics all his life, also hoped to dedicate his treasured cultural relics to the museum during his lifetime. Now, in accordance with my husband's wishes, and at the same time my personal wishes, I have decided to donate all these cultural relics to the Shanghai Museum. Ma Chengyuan's hands trembled.
Today, the cultural relics donated by Li Yinxuan and his wife have been properly placed in the Shanghai Museum, and some of the books have been placed in the library of Fudan University. If you have the opportunity to go to the Shanghai Museum and see the words "Donated by Li Yinxuan and Qiu Hui", then they are mr. Li Yinxuan's collection.
