Entering the car, the new car adopts a new interior design, which is more simple than the current model, and the driver-centered dashboard has added a lot of technology configuration, of which the new LCD dashboard is divided into three areas, the center is the tachometer + speedometer, and the right side is the water temperature meter and oil level, the left side is the G-value meter; the 8-inch central control screen on the side has joined the Starlink infotainment system, and has remote interconnection, Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, SiriusXM and other features.
In addition, the new car retains the traditional air conditioning panel under the central control, and integrates the air conditioning display into the physical knob, while below it is a row of switches that resemble aviation buttons.
Subaru said the new BRZ is the lightest 2+2 production sports car on the market today, with a mass of less than 1315kg, all thanks to the aluminium alloy use of the roof, front fender and hood, while the new chassis mounting system, the subframe architecture and other connection points as well as the chassis have been reinforced, resulting in a 50% increase in torsional strength.
