Hou Zhijun, a librarian of the Xinjiang Institute of Cultural Relics and Archaeology and the person in charge of the archaeological excavation project of The Ancient City of Durret, said: "In December 2021, the cultural relics restoration work was launched, and the technicians of the Archaeological Team of Liaoshangjing in Inner Mongolia were specially invited to the workstation for training and guidance. ”

After training, the restorer will repair the collected fragments of cultural relics through fragment bonding, patching and other ways to restore them to their original appearance. The restored pottery is neatly arranged on the exhibition shelves, and the rest of the pottery fragments are placed on the workbench in different categories.

The cumulative excavation area of the ancient city site of Dalat in Bole City is nearly 5,000 square meters, revealing more than 550 relics such as house sites, ash pits, stove sites, ash ditches, wells, kiln sites, tombs, etc., and more than 2,800 pieces (groups) of various small artifacts such as ceramics, coins, metalware, precious stones, bone horn teeth and other small utensils have been excavated, accompanied by a large number of pottery pieces and animal bones, and more than 100 ceramics have been restored.

Located on the northern edge of the town's Broken City Sub-Village, the ruins of the ancient city of Dalat in Bole City are national key cultural relics protection units and have been included in the "14th Five-Year Plan" of the State Administration of Cultural Heritage.
