author:The Orchid of the Regent's Heart

Coming out of Trinity College, I didn't dare to relax at all, and hurried back to the National Gallery of Ireland, which I had just passed.

Founded in 1854 and opened in 1864, the National Gallery of Ireland is an art gallery dedicated to the collection, preservation and exhibition of Irish and European art, known for its collection of works by Italian Baroque and Dutch masters.

The National Gallery of Ireland houses a large collection of Western European paintings from the Middle Ages to the 20th century. The museum, which is connected by four four-storey buildings, has as many as 54 exhibition rooms and more than 11,000 works of art divided by age and region, including the pinnacle of vermeer, Monet and other painting masters.

In 1852, William Dagan, the father of the Irish railway, first proposed the idea of holding an art exhibition on the south bank of Dublin, which at that time achieved a huge response from literary and art lovers, and the National Gallery began its construction process. Throughout the 20th century, the National Gallery was filled with visitors and the collection was enriched by its fame, and to this day, it has finally become a treasure of feng shui in Dublin.

There was only half an hour, and there was not much time to look closely, so I could only take pictures of the paintings that could be seen in the museum as much as possible, and save them for later.
