According to the earlier US media ESPN report, Duke legendary coach Mike Shashevsky will retire this season.
Tatum tweeted to his mentor: "The man who has influenced my life! （My guy for life）”
Coach K, who has coached Duke University for 42 years and led the team to five NCAA titles, will retire after the NCAA season ends. He also led the U.S. men's basketball team to three Olympic gold medals and two world championships. Tatum entered Duke University in 2016, played at Duke University for a year in 2016-2107, and was named to the Atlantic Coast League's All-Team Third Team and All-Rookie Team.
