Romero, joined Venice
After leaving Manchester United last summer, Argentine goalkeeper Romero joined Serie A Venice in October, and the 35-year-old quickly secured his position as the main goalkeeper and is now fighting for Venice's relegation.
Raphael, joined Botafogo
Brazilian full-back Rafael, who has played for Manchester United and Lyon, joined The Baptister-side Botafogo after leaving Turkish Super League side Bashak Sheshihir in September last year. Botafogo finally won the 2021 Baricoliga season, and the 31-year-old Raphael was able to return to the Liga with the team.
Mangala, joined Saint-Etienne
After leaving Valencia last summer, French defender Mangara was left without a goal for half a year before arriving in January of this year to Saint-Etienne, who had won 10 Ligue 1 titles. The relegation battle in Ligue 1 this season has been fierce, with the 31-year-old Mangara next fighting with his teammates for the relegation of Saint-Etienne.
David Luiz, joined Flamengo
After leaving Arsenal last summer, david Luiz, 34, ended his more than a decade of travel in Europe and chose to return to the roots, joining The Bundesliga side Flamengo in September.
Orière, joined Villarreal
After leaving Tottenham last summer, Ivorian defender Orière joined La Liga's Villarreal in October. The current 29-year-old Orier is in the middle of his fighting years, and under manager Emery, he is gradually adapting to the rhythm of La Liga.
Bentaleb, joins Angers
After leaving Schalke 04 last summer, Bentaleb remained unemployed for half a year before joining Ligue 1 side Angers in January this year. The Algerian midfielder, who is now only 27 years old, quickly secured his starting position in Angers and has scored for the team in Ligue 1.
Grönier
French midfielder Granier, plagued by injuries, left Rennes for half a year after leaving rennes last summer until March 3, when he finally found a new owner and traveled to La Liga side Mallorca. The 31-year-old Grönier made his first la Liga debut.
Wilshire, joined Aarhus
After leaving Bournemouth last summer, the 30-year-old Wilshire did not find a new owner until February this year, joining Danish side Aarhus and already making his debut at Aarhus.
Perotti, joining Salernitana
After leaving Fenerbahce last summer, Argentine winger Perotti, 33, returned to Serie A in February to join Salernitana and are fighting for relegation.
Ben Alpha, joining Lille
After leaving Bordeaux last summer, the 34-year-old Ben Alfa remained unemployed for six months before joining Lille in January to continue his ligue 1 campaign.
Sturridge, joined Perth Glory
After leaving Turkish Super League side Trabzon Sport in March 2020, Sturridge was left without the ball for a year and a half, and the 32-year-old England striker finally travelled to Australia last October to join Perth Glory.
