Han ZhangLiuhou Ancestral Hall, also known as Zhang Liang Temple, is the ancestral temple of Zhang Liang, the founding strategist of the Western Han Dynasty, and it is said that after Zhang Liang's achievements, he chose this place to live in seclusion. Zhangliang Temple is located in the foothills of Zibai Mountain on the southern slope of Qinling Mountain, surrounded by five mountains, two waters, excellent feng shui, nine courtyards in the ancestral hall, exquisite architectural design, stone carvings, plaques and many links, such a level of ancestral hall is really rare.

The archway at the entrance is spectacular and majestic, exquisitely built, and is a landmark building of Zhangliang Temple. According to the "History of the Liuhou Family", Zhang Liang was born in Chengfu (present-day Bozhou, Anhui), and his grandfather and father served as the minister of state of the Han kings for five generations in Korea.
According to legend, after the Qin defeated Korea, Zhang Liang intended to restore Korea, so he befriended the Assassins, sniped at Qin Shi Huang at Bolangsha (present-day Yuanyang, Henan), and after the assassination failed, when he fled to Xia Pi (present-day Suining, Jiangsu), he met the Old Man of Huangshi and obtained the Taigong War Law. Shortly thereafter, Zhang Liang persuaded Xiang Liang to make the nobleman of Han the King of Han and to serve as the Han Situ. After that, King Han was killed by Xiang Yu, and Zhang Liang returned to Liu Bang to advise him.
Initially, Zhang Liang urged Liu Bang to humble himself and preserve his strength at the Hongmen banquet, and dredged Xiang Yuji's father Xiang Bo, so that Liu Bang could escape smoothly, showing Zhang Liangjie's strategy. Later, during the Chu-Han War, Zhang Liang united with the Chu generals Yingbu, Han Xin and the Qin general Peng Yue to annihilate the Qin army, and with his excellent wisdom, assisted Liu Bang, the king of Han, to win the Chu-Han War and establish the Han Dynasty.
Zhang Liang, together with Xiao He and Han Xin, was the "Three Masters of the Early Han Dynasty", and Liu Bang once called him "a decisive victory thousands of miles away in the midst of planning and planning". However, Zhang Liang knew that working with Liu Bang could only share hardships and hardships and not happiness together, so when the Western Han Dynasty was founded, it was the day when Zhang Liang "resigned from Han", which was the origin of his retirement.
Long before Liu Bang began to liquidate, Zhang Liang pushed away many imperial court affairs on the grounds of frailty and illness, and could not go out every day behind closed doors, cultivating immortals at home. Soon after Liu Bang ascended the throne, he successively killed Han Xin and other meritorious ministers, and Zhang Liang retreated with his whole body by relying on the wisdom of the people, staying on the Zibai Mountain in the depths of the Qinling Mountains to cultivate the valley into immortals, and the word "breaking the valley" was actually the place where Zhang Liang cultivated. From the perspective of geographical feng shui, such a treasure of feng shui is actually Zhang Liang's long-term thought of a way out, which is also the superiority of Zhang Liang's wisdom.
After the founding of the Western Han Dynasty, Zhang Liang officially retired, in the foothills of the Zibai Mountains in the depths of the Qinling Mountains, he was with the people every day, ploughing the fields and acres; the night was accompanied by piano books, and he was enlightened and zen. General Feng Yuxiang left here a tribute to Zhang Liang: "Collecting the Qin Guan's hundred and two mountains and rivers is a strange plan, and the cause of the unification of the Auxiliary Han family is successful." "In the main hall of the temple is a statue of Zhang Liang, a Dao bone immortal muscle, and outstanding wisdom. On the right: in the pool of the "South Garden", there is Zhang Liang's "Valley Pavilion" of "Valley Breaking Immortals".
Zhang Liang was the head of the "Three Masters of the Early Han Dynasty," and Liu Bang himself said: "I am not as good as Zhang Liang when I give advice and advice and win a decisive victory over a thousand miles; I am not as good as Xiao He in order to appease the people and raise grain and wages; I am not as good as Han Xin when commanding an army of one million, and I will win the battle and conquer the battle." Zhang Liang is not only brilliant in wisdom and strategy, but also does not love power, so he is respected by posterity as "the first saint in the world".
At the end of the Eastern Han Dynasty 400 years later, Zhang Lu, the 10th generation descendant of Zhang Liang, became the "King of Hanzhong", and in order to honor the superior wisdom of his ancestors who did not seek the title of emperor and did not regard himself as an extremely popular subject, he built this "Han Zhang LiuHou Ancestral Hall".
As for Zhang Liang's death, there are many theories, and it is rumored that after Zhang Liang lived in seclusion, he concentrated on cultivating in the valley and finally died of illness. Of course, many people are more willing to believe that he will eventually become an immortal, which is also a kind of reverence for the "seeking holiness" in their hearts.
