MWC 2022: Qualcomm releases two new audio platforms, both supporting Snapdragon Listening Technology

Recently, at the MWC Mobile World Congress 2022, which is being held in Barcelona, Qualcomm Technologies International Co., Ltd. announced the launch of two new ultra-low-power wireless audio platforms with rich features - Qualcomm S5 Audio Platform (QCC517x) and Qualcomm S3 Audio Platform (QCC307x), both of which support Snapdragon Sound Snapdragon listening technology. Both platforms are optimized and support dual Bluetooth modes, combining classic Bluetooth wireless audio with the new LE Audio technology standard.

These two new platforms provide audio OEMs with broad flexibility to customize products at multiple levels, opening up more design possibilities, and audio devices using both new platforms can support more features. Snapdragon Sound Snapdragon Listening Technology Supports 16-bit 44.1kHz CD-level lossless Bluetooth sound quality, 24-bit 96kHz Ultra HD Bluetooth sound quality, 32kHz Ultra-Wideband Voice supports ultra-clear calls, bringing stereo recording capabilities to creators, making the recorded content have stereo sound effects, even in complex RF environments can get a robust connection, audio latency in game mode as low as 68ms and support voice synchronous callback; dual Bluetooth mode, Integrated LE Audio for audio sharing and broadcasting; multi-point Bluetooth wireless connectivity for easy and seamless switching between audio source devices; and 3rd generation Qualcomm adaptive active noise reduction technology with natural transmission mode.
