The B star of the No. 1 Group 01 of the Land Exploration Group is developed by the Eighth Academy of China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation, and after the double satellite meets, it will form a close-range orbital formation or network operation state with the A star.
With the characteristics of all-weather, all-weather, multi-mode and multi-polarization, the double star can be applied to geology, land, earthquake, disaster reduction, surveying and mapping and forestry and other fields, which can effectively improve the independent satellite detection capability and prevention and control level of geological disasters on the mainland, and effectively maintain national resources and ecological security.

This launch is the 87th launch of the Changsi series of rockets and the 408th launch of the Long March series of carrier rockets.
At 11:06 more than three hours later, at the Wenchang Cosmodrome in China, the Long March 8 Yao-2 carrier rocket ignited and took off, and the two launches successfully refreshed the record for the shortest launch interval of the mainland Long March rocket!
