Recently, after on-site evaluation, plan review and online publicity, the Shanghai Municipal Transportation Commission determined the list of the 2022 Shanghai Intelligent Connected Vehicle Demonstration Application Innovation Pilot Project ("Unveiling the Commander"). A total of 13 projects were selected in the city, among which 7 enterprises recommended by Jiading District, including Baidu Zhixing, Wrap Technology (AutoX), Saike Travel (Xiangdao Robotaxi), Dexin Lixing, Ruixing Technology, White Rhinoceros, and Cool Shift Robot, covered intelligent rental, smart train, intelligent retail, intelligent distribution, intelligent cleaning and other scenarios through publicity.

With the goal of promoting the large-scale demonstration and application of intelligent connected vehicles, the intelligent connected vehicle innovation project enriches the application scenarios, cultivates emerging business formats, and explores a sustainable, replicable and scalable demonstration application "Shanghai Plan" through the method of "unveiling the leader". The pilot period is 1 year, with a deadline of December 31, 2022.

It is reported that Shanghai International Automobile City has supported relevant selected enterprises to carry out demonstration applications in the region, Baidu, AutoX, and Xiangdao Robotaxi have continued to carry out manned demonstration applications in the Auto City area, Ruixing Technology has carried out intelligent retail demonstrations in the Automotive Innovation Harbor, and White Rhino has carried out intelligent distribution services in Anting New Town for more than a year, effectively supporting the needs of travel services in the region.
Shanghai International Automobile City focuses on promoting the demonstration and application of autonomous vehicles in all scenarios
In 2015, Shanghai International Automobile City gradually implemented the pilot demonstration project of intelligent and connected vehicles, and carried out the construction of the national intelligent and connected vehicle (Shanghai) pilot demonstration area. In 2018, Jiading opened the first batch of public test roads for intelligent and connected vehicles in China in the Auto City area, and in 2019, auto city took the lead in starting the large-scale demonstration application of autonomous taxis in China.
At present, Jiading has opened 616.4 kilometers of test roads (accounting for 15.4% of the country), 18 enterprises and 274 autonomous vehicles have carried out test demonstrations in Jiading (the number of vehicles accounts for 34.4% of the country), the total mileage of testing has exceeded 3 million kilometers (accounting for 30% of the country), the demonstration application has exceeded 50,000 singles, and more than 100 upstream and downstream enterprises in the intelligent networked automobile industry chain have been gathered, and the ecology of the intelligent networked automobile industry has initially taken shape.
