About the Author

Li Xun (李鋆), also spelled Shangshan, was a native of Liyang (present-day Hebi Xun County) in the Central Plains, and currently resided in Beijing. Member of China Calligraphers Association, Member of Beijing Calligraphers Association, Gold Medal Consultant of China Federation of Culture and Art Circles, Expert Member of China Art Evaluation Committee, Deputy Secretary-General of China Qingfeng Calligraphy and Painting Association, National Senior Calligrapher with Senior Titles in Chinese Culture (Certificate of Senior Title), National First-class Calligrapher, Director of Guoya Culture and Art Center, President of Beijing Huaxia Medical And Health Medical Research Institute, he was awarded the honorary title of "Famous Calligrapher of Virtue and Art Shuangxin Calligraphy and Painting" by the China Federation of Literary and Art Circles.

He has won the first prize of the 3rd Chinese Calligraphy Competition of "Hanmo Piaoxiang"; in 2016, he won the gold medal in the first national calligraphy art competition; in 2017, he won the third prize in the National Calligraphy and French Painting Competition; in the CCTV Culture Channel National Television Calligraphy Competition, he won the Excellence Award and other awards.
