In the future, when the metaversic becomes real, such as 2030, what will be the exclusive hot positions of the "meta-universe"? What conditions are required?
Remember 2016 when PokemanGO swept the world? At the time, many people felt that we were on the verge of a revolution in augmented reality technology. Obviously, this was not the case later.
Today, we are once again faced with a very similar scene to 2016, but the theme has been replaced by another word: metaverse.
In the current description, the metacosm is a fully immersive digital world in which we all live. And, whether we like it or not, there's a good chance we'll soon realize such a metaverse in the near future, for the simple reason that current tech giants are keen to do so.
So, from a perspective of planning for the future, rather than predicting the future, what kind of new jobs might be created by the realization and development of the "metaverse", which today seem completely unrealistic?

What metacosm scientists need to build is something similar to the "theory of everything", where the whole world is visible and can be manipulated digitally (think Ready Player One, similar to the movie, but not for entertainment).
This architecture will be the basis for all other metaverse application examples: games, advertising, quality control of factories, connected health, and so on.
It's an extremely complex job. Those who work as metaversary scientists need modeling techniques and then use the convergence technique of the CV algorithm to extend the prototype for 3D computational photography, neural rendering, scene reconstruction, computational imaging, vision-inertial ranging, state estimation, sensor fusion, plotting, and localization...
Eligibility: A Ph.D. in deep learning, computer vision, computer graphics, or computational imaging may be required. You also need to master C++. Good luck.
2. Metacostem Planner
Everyone has ideas, and execution is the key.
Once there is a proven metaverse, how to plan and implement all functions in a completely virtual world will be absolutely critical for most companies.
Metaverse Planner does just that.
As CEOs develop a vision and strategy for the creation and growth of their enterprise's metacosmonic revenue, metacosmographers need to drive a strategic portfolio of opportunities, from proof-of-concept to pilot to actual deployment. This includes identifying market opportunities, establishing a business case, specifying an engineering roadmap, compiling key metrics, and more.
In short, it is responsible... Those interesting things.
The role may seem unattractive, but think about it, how do you decide whether a car company should focus on creating virtual driving tests or implement a digital twin business to predict failures? I don't know, but I believe the metacostem planner knows.
Application requirements: many years of management experience, a certain understanding of HW/SW/SaaS/PaaS marketing and business model, and a good entrepreneurial mentality.

The metaverse does not arise on its own through Zuckerberg's pure will. The entire ecosystem will need to be built around it. The world is already complex, and further digitizing it will not be easy.

The metaverse is similar, we can develop software and hardware that supports the metaverse, but still lack some... Other stuff.
The role of the ecosystem developer is to coordinate partners and government departments to ensure that the functions of the various metaversics are implemented on a large scale. They will drive government investment in infrastructure and incentivize large communities of actors.
A key issue for ecosystem developers is interoperability, how to ensure that customers in the metaverse are able to use virtual items in different experiences. After all, if you can't wear it in the mall, what's the point of just getting a cool skin in a mini-game?
While other lobbying efforts will be geared toward financial institutions, which will need to support distributed bookkeeping technologies (blockchains) and smart contracts to transact goods and services on the platform.

Obviously, the person in charge of this matter is indispensable - the meta-universe security manager.
This position is a great responsibility. Metacostem safety managers need to accurately predict how metacosmities applications and features will be used, and how they may be abused, and identify the safety-critical components, systems, and manufacturing steps associated with these predictions.
In a new digital world, responsible for sheer complexity and the safety of moving parts, just thinking about it is enough to make people head-high.
Eligibility: Engineering degree and consumer electronics/manufacturing experience.
5. Metaverse hardware builder
Metaversities are built not just on code, but also on sensors, cameras, and VR headsets.
In the future, if someone pinches your arm in the metaverse, the sensor will let you feel it, and the camera can see if you are in a bad mood, so that the AI knows that you are in a bad mood and will not disturb you too much. Headphones can feel the sunlight around you and project a summer scene in the digital world for added realism.
Not to mention other underlying devices and hardware, such as inertial measurement units, visual light cameras, depth cameras to help track, draw and locate...
All of this hardware, which requires the creation of a fully digital world intertwined with the physical world, is not only costly but complex. The role of the metaverse hardware builder is to assemble this hardware and adjust the hardware in conjunction with the complex variations of the metacosm.
Currently, the best sensors are manufactured for industrial operations and the automotive industry. These industries are capital intensive. Therefore, whoever builds the hardware of the metaverse needs to ensure that it is cheap and safe, and that the metaverse does not become a "rich man's plaything".
Eligibility: Own a factory that can manufacture complex consumer electronics. Of course, this is not easy.
6. A storyteller in the metaverse
With the popularity of the concept of experience economy and gamification rising, it is more reasonable to experience it only if there is a good story line in the extended reality, and users can learn something from the story.
We laugh, we cry, we learn. We want to see strange things in the virtual world. That's when you need a storyteller!
Storytellers are responsible for designing immersive tasks that allow users to explore the metaverse.
How do you become a storyteller in the metaverse? First get a degree in literature, then a marketing minor, then graduate to work in a game company, and then transfer to the field of science and technology, just do it!
7. Builder of the world
When we already have the architecture, the hardware, the storyline, we still need to build the whole world. I'm not saying programming it, I'm talking about imagining the world.
The position requires a roughly the same level of competence as a video game designer. Although the rules followed are completely different. World builders need to be imaginative, because they envision things that don't exist at both the technical and product levels.
They also need to consider things on a rule and ethical level. When the virtual world becomes more and more realistic, can you kill people in it? Can war be waged? We've been thinking about this for a long time, but we're still far from getting the results of the discussions.
How do you become a builder of a world? You have to be half warriors and poets, and half graphic designers. If you play Minecraft, it's good to play.
8. Ad Blocker Specialist
How does Meta make money? By selling organs? By donation? Of course not! They make money by selling ads. The same will be true in the metaverse. It's the same thing.
Do you find targeted ads on Instagram annoying right now? Don't worry, wait until one day you see what they can do with the full, full data set! These ads will definitely be able to chase you all over the world when the time comes.
Imagine you're walking around a virtual world and then... In reality you are hungry. Subconsciously you stare at the coffee shops and restaurants in the virtual world for a while. Then the next second, I start pushing you ads about food. It might be fun at first. Over time you will feel that your world has been violated.
So, once we're tired of this innovation, we need people who block ads. They must be able to detect the ads implanted in the real world in advance. Then, the interceptor experts came out.
This is a lot like the AdBlock Plus model. They should have designed a small program that would block pop-up ads. The money should not be earned much, but with donations and access to endless data, you can still make a living.
How do you become an ad blocker? You can program a bit and then have access to the source code of the metaverse.
9. Meta-Universe Cyber Security Officer
Metaverse is the main target of cyber attacks and vulnerabilities, you can hack your virtual portrait, you can steal virtual currency, biometric data will be leaked (such as the pattern of brain waves, etc.), you can hack into your headset... There are countless things that can go wrong.
That's why metaverstem security experts are needed. These people can block attacks at any time, and they can also ensure that the rules and principles are rigorous and perfect at all times. It is even possible to design new principles and rules that encompass all the risks that may arise in the metaverse.
I think the crisis of the virtual world will one day spread to the real world.
10. Interns who don't take money
This one looks a lot like a bunch of numbers, right? But in fact, although this seat has existed for a long time, it must be emphasized that the future will be very critical in the construction process of the metaverse.
Interns who generally don't take money don't have coffee to drink. They have to compete with the data. They are responsible for programming the metaverse environment, such as roadside rocks and trees. They are indispensable to the curriculum of the Meta-Universe Technology Empire.
We should pay tribute to the sacrifices they have made... They should also be paid, haha.
Safety, comfort, engaging storylines, freely customizable hairstyles... We can all have these in the metaverse!
But this will not be achieved immediately. The metaverse also requires countless new technologies, new principles, new companies, all kinds of innovations and discoveries. And, by definition, a lot of people need to do a lot of work to achieve this grand plan.
If you're lucky enough to get one of the jobs mentioned above, just remember one thing: Our world isn't optimistic. Don't bring your own dark side into the metaverse.
