While jokic appears to be the player most likely to win the regular season MVP of the season, as the playoffs get closer, a lot of things are likely to change in the coming weeks. While all the players on this list have played very well on their respective teams, it's hard to ignore the season Jokic is going through, averaging 26 points, 7.9 assists and 13.8 rebounds per game. Although Embiid behind him put a lot of pressure on Jokic, in addition to averaging 29.6 points per game better than Jokic, he averaged rebounds (11.2) and assists (4.5) slightly behind Jokic, in other words, of all the MVP candidates, Jokic performed best.
