According to ESPN, sources confirmed that Nikola Jokic was elected MVP of the 2021-22 regular season. This is the second consecutive year that Jokic has been named regular season MVP.
In the regular season, Jokic averaged 27.1 points, 13.8 rebounds and 7.9 assists per game, leading the team to 48 wins and 34 losses.
In the first round of the playoffs, Jokic averaged 31.0 points, 13.2 rebounds, 5.8 assists and 1.6 steals per game, shooting 57.5 percent from the field. The Nuggets lost to the Warriors in the first round.
