After retiring in 2008, he joined the coaching staff of Bucks head coach Skyles, a disciplined, defensive coach. Judging from the resume of Assistant Griffin, he has served as an assistant coach for a number of well-known defensive coaches, and the Bucks are expected to remain at the top of the league defensively this season.
