Volkswagen's new Langyi, as a mid-term remodeled model, has been slightly extended in body size compared to the current model. The front face of the Starry Sky Edition model is the same height as the revamped Passat Star Edition, resembling a "Little Passat". The starting price of the new Langyi is expected to be consistent with the current model (112,900) and is expected to be launched at the Beijing Auto Show in April.
The new car is longer than the current model and taller than the new Passat. In terms of power, the new car is equipped with 1.5L, 1.2T, 1.4T engines, of which 1.2T is the new power, which was only used on the Langyi hatchback before, with a maximum power of 85kW and a peak torque of 200N·m. The 1.5L and 1.4T are consistent with the current model, and the transmission system matches the 5-speed manual, 6-speed manual and 7-speed dry dual-clutch transmission respectively.

From the appearance point of view, the new Langyi for the first time introduced a dual appearance design, a style that is still more calm, similar to the current Sagitar. The star version of the model style is more young and fashionable, the front face uses a similar dot matrix grille similar to mercedes-Benz with a radical bumper, which is highly consistent with the new Passat; the rear of the car is added with a black spoiler, and the bumper is flanked by C-shaped chrome trim.
