The 3 new traffic regulations issued in 2021,
We have written a number of analysis and comparisons from different angles,
In fact, the impact of the new regulations on private cars is not the greatest.
The impact on AB drivers is the most profound!
Two major adjustments to the ab-type driver's license internship period
In the new regulations, there are two very important changes to the provisions of the AB internship period.
Exam education after the internship period, canceled!
1
According to the previous regulations, the AB driver's license can not be "regularized" immediately after the internship period, and the driver also needs to take the internship period examination, including: road traffic safety laws and regulations, traffic safety and civilized driving, emergency handling and other knowledge tests, not less than half an hour of traffic accident case warning education.
But in the new rules, this provision is gone. This means that in the future, the AB driver's license does not need to take the internship exam after the internship, and it can be smoothly converted.
The specific deletions are as follows:
"Extended Internship Period" regulation, canceled!
2
Under the old rules, if the Ab driver's license had more than 6 points but did not reach 12 points during the internship period, the internship period would be extended by one year.
In the new rules, this provision has also been deleted, that is, from April 1, the AB driver's license is the same as the C driver's license, and there is no longer a "extension of the internship period".
The specific limitations are as follows:
However, it is worth noting that if the driver is credited with 12 points during the internship period, he still has to face the result of canceling his driver's license. However, it is the probationary quasi-driving qualification that is cancelled, not the driver's highest quasi-driving qualification.
AB driver's license for demotion provisions, canceled!
The cancellation of the "demotion" provision is one of the biggest adjustments to the Class AB driver's license.
In the past regulations, as long as the AB driver's license was credited with 12 points in the cycle, it would face a driver's license demotion. For drivers who make a living by driving transport vehicles, it is tantamount to losing their jobs.
In the new regulations, the provisions on "demotion" have all been deleted. This means that there will be no downgrade in the future Class AB driver's license.
Specific limitations are as follows:

Full marks for learning more rigorously!
Although the Ab driver's license cancels the demotion, it does not mean that the management is relaxed, and with it comes stricter full-score learning and education.
After scoring 12 points, the driver is faced with a deduction + study + test.
Among them, the AB driver's license is facing: deduction + 30 days of study + examination. For every 12 points added to the score, the learning time is increased by 30 days, up to a maximum of 120 days.
See the table below:
After the demerit points are reduced, you do not have to participate in the examination
According to the regulations, if the AB driver's license has a score in a cycle, no matter how many points, it must participate in the examination; if there is no score during the current week, it is exempted from the examination.
The addition of the "point reduction" provision in the new regulations is another major blessing for AB drivers.
If the driver learns by deducting points and clears the scores during the current week, he will no longer need to participate in the examination.
Added 4 situations in which you are not allowed to apply for an AB driver's license
In the new version of the "Regulations on the Application and Use of Motor Vehicle Driving Licenses", the number of situations in which you cannot apply for an AB driver's license has been increased from the original 3 to 7, and a total of 4 new types have been added. The details are as follows (focusing on the new points):
Article 18 In any of the following circumstances, they shall not apply for the quasi-driving type of large passenger cars, heavy traction trailers, city buses, medium-sized passenger cars, and large trucks:
(1) Where a traffic accident causes the death of a person, and bears equal or greater responsibility;
(2) Driving a motor vehicle while drunk;
(3) Driving a motor vehicle after drinking alcohol again;
(4) Having conduct driving a motor vehicle after ingesting or injecting drugs, or having records of carrying out community drug rehabilitation, compulsory isolation drug rehabilitation, or community rehabilitation measures;
(5) Driving a motor vehicle to chase racing, overcrowding, speeding, or transporting hazardous chemicals in violation of the provisions on the safety management of hazardous chemicals constitutes a crime;
(6) Where a motor vehicle driver's license has been revoked or revoked for less than 10 years;
(7) Driving a motor vehicle without obtaining a motor vehicle driver's license, and causing serious injury or death to a person in a traffic accident with equal or greater responsibility.
summary
In fact, the demotion of the AB driver's license, the extension and cancellation of the internship period, and the cancellation of the additional driving internship period that we have analyzed before are all related to the new Administrative Punishment Law, which was officially implemented on July 15, 2021. In the new Administrative Punishment Law, the demotion of the driving license and the extension of the internship period are all administrative punishments, and the Ministry of Public Security does not have the right to set the types of penalties that restrict the type of employment, and can no longer be enforced according to regulations.
Therefore, in the new "Regulations on the Application and Use of Motor Vehicle Driver's Licenses", there are so many important provisions that have been deleted and adjusted. However, the specific implementation and implementation situation will not be known until after April 1.
