The entire design of the original Champions League final ball was inspired by Russian cities, so simply reprinting text was not enough to completely clear the theme of St. Petersburg.
It's unclear what Adidas plans have to amend, with the Champions League final still months away, and they certainly have the option of launching a new football to reflect the new host city style.
Currently, they do not mass-produce this new model of ball. Adidas can simply produce a small number of Paris-themed Champions League balls, which will ultimately only be used in the final.
For reference, in 2020, when the Champions League final, which was originally scheduled to be held in Istanbul, was changed to Be held in Porto, the text and design on the ball used for the final did not change.
