It turned out that Li Juncheng, the father of police officer Li Jianzhong, was a retired cadre of the Nan'an City Public Security Bureau on May 12, and he had served as a political commissar and deputy secretary of the party group of the bureau. On February 9, Comrade Li Juncheng passed away at home at the age of 91. "My father told me before he died that there was still one wish that had not been fulfilled." Li Jianzhong said, "After passing away, I will pay the 'last' party fee of 20,000 yuan to the party branch where I belong." I am not at all surprised by this decision made by my father, he is grateful for the cultivation of the party all his life, and this 20,000 yuan party fee is the portrayal of his original intention of not changing in his life. ”

He remembers that when his father was the leader of the public security bureau, some relatives and friends in his hometown ran to his home to ask his father to help him do things, but all of them were rejected by his father, "According to the regulations, I can do it, and if I can't do it, I won't do it for you!" Li Jianzhong said that because of his father's integrity, he "offended" many relatives and friends, and he has heard relatives and friends complain more than once that his father "does not talk about kinship at all." "Needless to say relatives, I am his own son, and I never dare to let him do anything for me, otherwise I will inevitably scold him with his head covered." Li Jianzhong said that fathers have always taught their children to work conscientiously and down-to-earth, and not to make any demands on the organization.

Although life is very simple, whenever the country encounters disasters, Li Juncheng is very generous. In the 2008 Wenchuan earthquake, Li Juncheng was concerned about the disaster area and donated 10,000 yuan for the first time. In 2020, the sudden outbreak of new crown pneumonia began in Wuhan and spread across the country, and Li Juncheng took the initiative to donate 10,000 yuan before the party organization called for donations. "At that time, we had just come to him to discuss the organization of anti-epidemic donations, and he said that he was preparing to find us."
