On May 15, the Information Office of the Municipal Government held a press conference on the 6th Western China International Investment and Trade Fair. The first eye news reporter learned from the meeting that the 6th Western Trade Fair will be held at the Chongqing International Expo Center and Yuelai International Conference Center from May 23rd to 26th.
Zhang Yongwu, director of the Municipal Commission of Commerce, introduced that the 6th Western Trade Fair focused on the modern producer service industry, with the theme of "New West, New Manufacturing, and New Service", with Belarus as the guest of honor and Sichuan Province as the guest of honor. This year's Western Trade Fair has 11 exhibition halls in four theme exhibition areas: comprehensive image, modern service industry, modern manufacturing industry, and international and regional cooperation, covering an area of 130,000 square meters.
During the conference, the opening ceremony and major project signing ceremony will be held, and a total of 12 special activities will be held in conjunction with industry associations and multinational institutions under the five themes of logistics services, innovation services, professional services, investment in western China and global procurement. At the same time, in order to implement the work deployment of the Ministry of Commerce's "Consumption Promotion Year", this year's Western Fair also planned the consumption promotion activity of "Xiqiao Benefiting the Whole City" to give full play to the promotion role of the exhibition economy in driving urban consumption.
