There is a celestial map of the Tomb of the Great Tang Dynasty Qin King, and there are guiding stones in the map, whether it is a road sign left by the tomb robbers

After the tomb of the Tang Dynasty Qin King was successfully excavated, archaeologists accidentally found a celestial map outside the tomb. What is unexpected is that there is a special "guiding stone" in this celestial map. Could it be a signpost left by a "grave robber"? If you want to know, let Xiaobian reveal the secret for you:

In 2001, the Shaanxi Provincial Institute of Cultural Relics received reports from the public that a large number of ancient green bricks suddenly appeared in the apple orchard in the eastern part of Lingyuan Village, Lingyuan Township, Jintai District, Baoji City, and asked archaeologists to investigate. After hearing this news, the Institute of Cultural Relics did not dare to be idle, and quickly set up a professional archaeological team to go to the scene to investigate.

After the team of archaeologists arrived, the first sight of the scene was in disarray, in the apple orchard, there was a small underground cave entrance, near the opening was full of scattered bricks, it is obvious that there is likely to be an ancient tomb here, and the scattered bricks and tiles are tomb bricks blown up by tomb robbers using explosives. After this, archaeologists conducted a brief survey of the tomb and finally found that the cave had not been completely opened, which made everyone breathe a sigh of relief. In order to be able to protect the important cultural properties of the mainland, the Shaanxi Provincial Institute of Cultural Relics decided to carry out protective excavations of the tomb and strive to rescue all the cultural relics in the tomb before the tomb robbers excavated it again.

But things are not so simple, when archaeologists excavated the tomb, they were disappointed to find that the tomb had long been stolen and excavated, and there was almost no valuable funerary products left in the tomb. Fortunately, the epitaphs, pottery figurines and other items in the tomb that prove the identity of the owner were not stolen, so archaeologists concluded that the owner of the tomb was Li Maozhen and his wife in the late Tang Dynasty. Li Maozhen was a famous warlord from the end of the Tang Dynasty to the Five Dynasties, who was once awarded the title of King of Qi for his meritorious service in escorting Emperor Tang, and continued to divide the Longyou region for several years.

Through careful observation, archaeologists found another special robbery cave, which is located on the top of the tomb, just avoiding the end-floor trap in front of the tomb, and its precise positioning and proficiency in punching the hole seem to have been premeditated to rob the tomb. After identification, archaeologists determined that the age of the cave is relatively old, it should be around the end of the Five Dynasties to the beginning of the Song Dynasty.

At this time, a question ensued, why would the tomb robbers in the Song Dynasty be so familiar with Li Maozhen's tomb situation? Did they really have some kind of secret method that could pinpoint the location of the tomb chambers? With this particular question in mind, archaeologists conducted a series of investigations, but despite their great efforts, they were unable to find the final answer.

Until later, when archaeologists cleaned the tomb, they found that the ground outside the tomb was composed of a pile of Tang bricks, the shape of which was wide in the north and narrow in the south, and the whole was raised in the middle and upturned around, similar to an eight-lift palanquin.

More importantly, the placement of Tang bricks in the tomb is irregular, and there is a phenomenon of no bricks inside, and the location of these brickless tiles constitutes a "Big Dipper Seven Star Map", which is called "Celestial Map". Generally speaking, in the ancient feudal period, only the emperor could have the qualification to be buried with the "Big Dipper Seven Star Chart". That is to say, according to Li Maozhen's position before his death, he buried himself as an emperor, which is undoubtedly an act of trespassing, and his ambitions are also clearly revealed.

It was in this Tang brick that archaeologists found a very unusual and strange brick. It is not a regular rectangle, but resembles a large tooth-toothed arrow, and the arrow points to the location of The Tomb of Lady Li Maozhen, and within this tomb, there are a large number of rare treasures.

Archaeologists looked at the arrows in front of them to indicate the green bricks, fell into a deep thought, and finally they proposed a possibility, thinking that the appearance of arrow-shaped green bricks should be a "mark" deliberately created by tomb robbers at the beginning of the construction of the mausoleum. As we all know, the tomb robber and the owner of the tomb are contradictory sides, when building the tomb, the tomb robber can not enter the tomb with a big swing and carry out blatant activities. The only way they can use it is to disguise themselves and become "tomb repairers" so that they can have the opportunity to do tricks and feet. What is more noteworthy is that this square brick seems to be small, but in full view of the public, it is impossible to be completely neglected, so experts further deduce that the number of tomb robbers mixed into the tomb repair team needs at least more than one person.

The Tomb of the Great Tang Dynasty qin king has survived thousands of years of ups and downs, and there are still many doubts lingering on its head, so we also earnestly hope that archaeologists will continue to work hard and finally interpret more of the truth of the mausoleum for us.
