Chinese characters, which are earlier than the oracle bone, date back or tens of thousands of years, are known as the ancestors of Western script

According to the law of script evolution, Chinese characters should successively go through "primitive writing" and "pre-mature script", and formed a "mature script" - oracle bone script - in 3600 years ago.

According to archaeological evidence, the earliest original chinese script or prototype of the script is the Jiahu inscription, which dates back more than 8,000 years. From the comparison of oracle bones and JiaHu inscriptions, both mainly use tortoise shells and bones as carriers, and the writing characteristics of first horizontal and then vertical, first up and then down, etc. are basically the same, so it is generally believed that there is a close connection between oracle bones and JiaHu inscriptions.

The problem is that the Jiahu inscription is more than 4400 years apart from the oracle bone, if the Jiahu inscription is the original script, then the Chinese script is after more than 4400 years of long evolution, the formation of a mature script - oracle bone. Compared with the history of the evolution of chinese characters in other civilizations in the world, the evolution process of Chinese characters is undoubtedly too long, is it that the early development of Chinese civilization was particularly slow? With the continuous emergence of underground cultural relics, modern scholars have made a major discovery, oracle bones may have existed before a mature script - Yi, originated about 10,000 years ago, and even some scholars surprisingly believe that "Yi is not only the source of Chinese characters, but also the ancestor of Western characters."

Yi documents: The history of monkeys changing into humans is recorded, and the longest genealogy is more than 10,000 years

Yi is the sixth largest ethnic group in China - the Yi script, and Chinese characters are all ideographic square characters, and the way of creating characters is roughly the same as Chinese characters, but the specific formation time is different, some say that it is imitating the "Six Kingdoms Script" and created, some say "Tang Chuang Song Cheng", some say "Ming Chuang Qing Cheng", but with the surviving Yi literature today, there are about 12,000 stone carvings and paper documents, and about 0.5 million folk books are not included in the statistics, and the literature content is very rich, involving history, mythology, contracts, music, medicine, Astronomical geography, witchcraft, etc., many of which are very different from the Central Plains civilization, obviously if there is no brilliant civilization, a long history, and a rich accumulation, it is difficult to leave such a rich family foundation.

What is even more astonishing is that many of the contents of the Yi literature are incredible, taking the Darwinian theory of evolution and genealogy as an example: first, Darwin's theory of evolution believes that man evolved from monkeys, but the Yi "Menmijian Zajie" mentions that one of the monkeys became human records, and the apes began to use fire in the process of adulthood, and finally mentioned that "after having fire, knowing to eat cooked food, one day learning, monkeys become human", "Le Otteryi", "Chronicles of the Beginnings" and so on; secondly, The ethnic inheritance recorded by the Yi people is very long, with 241 generations recorded in the Sichuan "Litz", 248 generations recorded in the "Astronomical Origin" in Yunnan, and 411 generations recorded in the Guizhou "Southwest Yizhi And Genealogy", according to the 30-year generation, the longest inheritance recorded in the Yi literature is more than 12,000 years.

Perhaps, it is precisely because the Yi people have a long history and inherit ancient times that they know that people evolved from monkeys, otherwise how to explain the record of "people evolved from monkeys" in the Yi literature?

Yi script: you can interpret the ancient inscriptions, dating back to 10,000 years

Since the beginning of this century, with the continuous excavation of ancient cultural relics, scholars have made some major discoveries when studying the Banpo inscription and the Jiahu inscription.

In 1954, the Banpo site was discovered in Xi'an, Shaanxi Province, and some symbols carved on pottery were unearthed, and Guo Moruo pointed out that "its text is not suspicious", that is, it is considered to be a primitive script, but he has not been able to decipher its meaning. At the end of the 1970s, the Yi scholar Li Qiao inadvertently discovered that the Banpo pottery was suspected of being ancient Yi, believing that the two should be related by blood, so he brought the Banpo pottery rubbing back to Yunnan and asked Li Bayikun, the old Yiwen, for advice, and finally interpreted the meaning of 23 pottery runes, with a recognition rate of 72%. In 1990, the People's Daily made an in-depth report entitled "Banpo Carved Symbols Are the Ancestors of Yi". In the picture below, some of the Banpo inscriptions are compared with the Yi script, which is derived from the article "Yi Wen Unveils the Mystery of the Carved Symbols of Dadiwan in Gansu 8,000 Years Ago".

In 1987, the JiaHu lake site was discovered in Wuyang, Henan Province, and a number of symbols carved on tortoise shells, bone ware and pottery were unearthed. Scholars have found that the Jiahu carved symbols have many similarities or similarities with the Yi script, and the two have certain origins.

In addition, with the Jiahu site contemporaneous Hunan Pengtou Mountain inscription, Gansu Dadiwan inscription, and later Yin Ruins oracle bones, many can be interpreted in Yi, especially the bronze inscriptions of the ancient Shu Kingdom, which have a striking resemblance to the Yi script, perhaps the mysterious Sanxingdui civilization uses the Yi script.

Because the Jiahu inscription dates back more than 8,000 years, Professor Liu Zhiyi of Zhuzhou Institute of Technology in Hunan Province believes that "the ancient Yi script has a long history of more than 9,000 years, and if you add its initial period, it may be more than 10,000 years." What is even more striking is that Liu Zhiyi believes that the ancient Yi script is the ancestor of Western writing, and the ultimate source of Western alphabet writing is actually ancient Yi script. In the picture below, the yi script is compared with some of the oracle bones, which is derived from the article "Yi Wen Unveils the Mystery of the Carved Symbols of Dadiwan in Gansu Province 8,000 Years Ago".

Yi script: spread to the world before 7500, or the ancestor of Western writing

Two years ago, Du Jiangang, a retired professor at Hunan University, proposed that "English originated in Hunan", which was considered to be sensationalism, so Professor Du Jiangang became a joke for a while. In fact, from the perspective of ancient Yi studies, the ultimate source of English may not be in China.

As we all know, the Western alphabet originated from the cuneiform and linear script of the Sumerians of West Asia, and was simplified over a long period of time. Because cuneiform, linear script and oracle bone have many similarities, Western scholars generally believe that "the Appearance of the Sumerian Script After the appearance of the Oracle bone after 2000, the Chinese civilization is the Sumerian civilization from the east", and the Sumerian script is the ancestor of the world's writing.

The Sumerians appeared in West Asia 7500 years ago to 5000 years ago, but the ancient Yi script appeared 8000 years ago at the latest, so in terms of time, the ancient Yi script is in front and the Sumerian script is in the back. Western scholars themselves admit that the Sumerian script has many similarities with the Oracle. Undoubtedly, from the chronological order of appearance, it should be that the Sumerian script originated from the ancient Yi script.

Yi scholar Gelong Ahong pointed out in the article "Forgotten Ancient Tribal Groups of China" that the influence of ancient Yi on the West still has relics, such as rock inscriptions in Italy 4,000 years ago, linear characters A and B in Greece 3,000 years ago, and ancient characters in India 4,000 years ago, which are the same as the glyph strokes and writing methods of ancient Yi, and some characters can even be interpreted in ancient Yi.

Because of this, Professor Liu Zhiyi asserted: "The ancient Yi script is the source of the Chinese language, the ancestor of the Western language, and the ancestor of the world's writing." He believes that about 7500 years ago, in the ancient commercial trade, the ancient Yi language spread to the West, and finally on the basis of the ancient Yi language, the Sumerians created cuneiform scripts, etc., because there is a close connection between the oracle bone and the ancient Yi script, so the Sumerian script derived from the ancient Yi script and the oracle bone also have a certain similarity.

Nowadays, the Yi people are mainly distributed in the southwest region, and the Jia Lake ruins, Banpo ruins, etc. are distributed in Henan And Shaanxi and other places, the two places are far apart, if there is a relationship between the Yi and Jia Lake inscriptions, then where did the Yi people originate, why did they migrate to the southwest region? The famous scholar Wei Ando pointed out that the Yi people were actually called the Yi people with bows and arrows, which originated in Shandong, and in the tribal wars of the ancient dynasties, some of the tribes continued to migrate to the southwest and integrated with the local ethnic groups, eventually forming the Yi people.

Perhaps, a Yi tribe that remained in the Central Plains created the oracle bone script on the basis of the Yi language and combined with the Xia Shang culture; the Yi people who migrated to the southwest took away the ancient texts and continued to preserve the ancient script. According to the law of writing, there should have been "first-ripe writing" before the oracle bone, and the reason why this "first-ripe writing" has not been found so far may be here.
